1993 Mercury Villager Repaint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1993 Mercury Villager. This peeling crusty minivan started the process at our shop with some serious sanding work, we removed all of the old failing red paint, smoothing all of the old jagged edges down to a even paintable level. Once the surface was even and smooth we masked off all of the unpainted areas such as; windows, lights, lower silver trim, etc. The van was now ready for its coat of primer sealer, and new paint! We refinished the red parts of the van with our Urethane Single Stage paint in its original color!

1992 BMW 325i Basic Paint Job

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1992 BMW 325i Sedan. This Bavarian came to our shop looking absolutely horrendous! Its original paint had been sanded down, and some bodywork had been completed before this car came in leaving its surfaces an off grey color. Since all of the bodywork and sanding that the owner wanted to be completed was already done, he opted for just our "Basic Prep" to be done prior to painting. We degreased the car, completed a final scuffing of the paint to ensure adhesion of the new paint, and masked off all of the windows, lights, and trim. We painted the entire exterior of this BMW with our basic Enamel paint, in the cars original color! As we do with every car, after it was painted we drove it straight into our oven to be "baked," curing the new finish!

1995 Chevrolet Tahoe Paint Overhaul!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Chevy Tahoe.  This mini SUV started out with no shortage of terrible old paint. Its original clear coat had failed over years of being beaten by the sun's harmful rays causing the top layer to look white, also the base layer of primer had failed causing lots of crack or "check" marks in the top surface! These paint defects would cause the new paint to look terrible if we simply painted over them, so we stripped the hood, roof, and both fenders down to the bare metal, ridding them of all of the checking primer.  The rest of the truck we sanded what was left of the old peeling clear coat down to a smooth paintable surface.  After masking, the truck was sealed with a primer and finally painted in its original color with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!

2004 Infiniti i35 Collision Repair!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2004 Infiniti i35. This mid-sized luxury sedan came to Almost-Everything with not just a dent, but a gash running straight through the rear drivers side quarter panel! In addition to the gash needing repairs, the rear left door was damaged so severely it needed to be replaced! We began by welding the gash shut and repairing the rest of the damage on that same panel while we waited for our replacement door to arrive from our original recycled parts supplier. Once the door arrived we installed it after painting the inside jamb. By the time the door was finished being installed, the repairs to the torn rear panel were all finished up, making this car ready for paint! We repainted the rear left quarter panel, door, and "blended" paint onto the front left door for an even repair with no hard breaks or differences in color!

Almost-Everything's Summer Bumper Special!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Saab 900.  For the most part this cars paint was in great condition, but there was one exception, the rear bumper!  After years of getting bumped in parking lots and taking small poundings from other vehicles bumpers, this Saab's bumper had enough.  Its paint had nearly completely cracked off in some areas!  Before we could apply our paint, we repaired all of the cracked, peeling, chipped areas, smoothing them out so they would not show through the new paint.  We refinished the bumper with our enviromentally friendly "Water-Based Paint" and returned it back to its owner looking shiny and new again!

1996 Nissan Sentra "Visual Tune-Up"

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1996 Nissan Sentra. This little sedan came to our shop with plenty of peeling paint. Its original paint was coming off in sheets! Our first line of repair was to sand off all of that ugly problematic paint to a smooth, paintable surface. Once that was complete we sealed the car with our basic "Primer Sealer" and repainted the entire exterior with our Enamel paint in the cars original color!

1999 Honda Accord Overall Paintjob!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Honda Accord.  This rasin colored sedan came to our shop almost completely grey!  This car had lots of existing bodywork from outside our shop, the owner came to us simply for paint.  We began by washing the exterior with a chemical to remove any old dirt, wax, road tar, etc. We then scuffed up the paint/primer with an abrasive hand pad to promote adhesion of the new paint.  Once masking was completed, the car was ready for its new coat of Enamel paint in its original color!

2001 Honda Odyssey Paint Job + Headlamp Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2001 Honda Odyssey.  This family mover came to Almost-Everything just in time.  Its paint had recently started to peel or "delaminate" as we call it.  This is a very common problem on Hondas, usually it begins on the roof, hood, and trunk then spreads onto the surrounding panels, luckily this owner caught it in the beginning stages! We sanded down all of the problematic areas to a smooth surface then applied a primer to seal the freshly abraded surface also providing a great "Clean Slate" for the new paint to stick onto.  The owners of this van are keeping it for many years to come, with this in mind they decided to have us paint their Odyssey with our Base Coat / Clear Coat paint, which carries a five year warranty! To top off the van's new look we also restored the yellowed, foggy headlamps back to crystal clear!
