This customer brought in her Monte Carlo to get painted after it was vandalized. She chose to bring in her own parts for us to install. We installed the left fender, left fog light, left and right headlights and the front bumper cover. She had decided on the Urethane Base Coat/Clear Coat 2-stage paint with a sealer. She also chose for us to get rid of the delaminating paint (peeling) to make sure it didn't show up under the new paint. Just look at it glow!

Bumper Scrapes
Ugh. Your bumper is scraped. It is the only blemish on a beautiful car. Like our name implies, Almost Everything Auto Body does not mind doing small jobs. And if you've gotten quotes from other shops of $700 to $1000 to fix the little scrape, we can probably help by discussing options to help get the cost back down to earth.
Today's Car of the Day is a Chevy Traverse with a scratched bumper. We took the bumper off the car, removed the unpainted step pad, lower bumper cover, reflectors plus the parking sensors. Then we repaired the scrapes and repainted the bumper with factory matched paint. The repair comes with our lifetime warranty against fading, peeling and loss of gloss.

Fixing the Work of Scam Artists
Don't be embarrassed if this happened to you. Once a week we see a car that has been "fixed" by a scam artist. He approachs people and offers to repair damage on the spot for a reasonable price. He may hammer, apply fillers and paint. When he's done he explains that you just need to let things dry then everything will be perfect. He may even offer to come back to finish the job. You won't see him again and you will have no way to contact him. These guys create more damage than they started with. Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu that has been attacked by one of these scam artists. As you can see in the photos below, he didn't fix anything but he made the car uglier and in need of more repairs.

2015 Chevrolet Silverado Rear-Ended
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a truck. . . a top of the line, barely off the lot, 2015 Chevy K1500 Silverado LT Crew Cab 4x4. As bad as this damage looks, we're sure the car that rear ended the Silverado faired worse. We realigned the frame, replaced the bed side, tailgate, bumper, exhaust system, catalytic converters and more. Then we repainted using factory matched paint. Our customer told us, "It looks like nother ever happened!" Thanks.
