Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe that had been vandalized. Every panel except the roof had deep key scratches. Otherwise the vehicle was in great shape. Unfortunately, the customer did not have insurance coverage for this type of damage. He chose our Major Chip & Scratch Repair, a new coat of primer sealer to cover the bare metal from the scratches, and painted the whole vehicle with a budget-friendly single-stage paint.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1998 Mustang Cobra. This Muscle Car came to our shop after being vandalized by a gang armed with keys. There were scratches and gouges all over the car, most of which we sanded out, the ones that would not sand out were filled with a "high build" primer. Once the sanding and prep were complete, the entire car was sealed with a light primer-sealer. The Cobra was now ready for paint! We applied 4 coats of our premium Base Coat/Clear Coat paint to make this Mustang shine like new again.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is this 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. This particular car was the victim of vandalisim, the entire car was "keyed" leaving deep gouges in nearly every panel on the outside of the car! We repaired this problem by first sanding and "feathering" the deep gouges, a process that blends rough edges so they become smooth making them invisible beneath the new paint. Next we applied a sealer primer to the freshly sanded surface to seal it and provide a good foundation for the new paint to stick to. Finally we finished the car with a "Two Tone" paint job---Flat Black on the sides and a Gloss Black on the top!
