Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S Sports Car
Here's 2 videos of the new Subaru/Toyota/Scion sports car. Subaru gets top billing on this post because the engine in this featherweight little demon is all horizontally-opposed Subaru magic (Porsche is the other manufacturer that regularly puts this type of "boxer" engine in their cars.) We're a little surprised that the Toyota & Subaru versions look identical. The only difference we spot is the little vent on the Subaru's fenders versus a nasty little emblem in the same spot on the Toyota. Toyota plans to market it in the USA as a 2013 Scion FR-S. There are rumors of design tweeks for the Scion version. Initial reviews are that it is a lot of fun to drive.

Marussia B2 Supercar
ExoticSpotter.com dropped this little nugget in our lap today. It's the Marussia B2 supercar designed & built in Russia. Some in the cyberworld have said it is "ugly" and "like a toy from Thailand." We couldn't disagree more. These things look cool as &%#*!! We like the tight cockpit bubble, combination of curves & sharp cut off edges and the CART/F1 racing pedigree. A Lamborghini looks tame by comparison. DriveChannel.com reports that power to weight ratios match Lotus and the Ferrari 458 Italia. Financing from Richard Branson/Virgin can't hurt. Add the Marussia to our "need!" list.

1968 CHEVELLE RESTORATION
Almost Everything Autobody's Car of the Day is a restoration of a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible project car. We really enjoyed working on this classic muscle car and can't wait to see it with the new interior, engine and the rest of its chrome.
