A New Car at 5% of the New Car Price
Today we feature a great car with low miles but its age was really showing in the paint and headlights. The owner's objective was to get a "new" car without the new car payment. So he changed the color, restored the headlights and fixed the delaminating or peeling paint & clear coat. He chose our Urethane Single Stage paint for a durable but economical finish.

Headlight Restoration
Yellow, faded headlamps look bad and are unsafe. Restore them to jewel-like clarity for a fraction of replacement costs. Almost Everything polishes the damaged surface then rebuilds the layer with a tough new coating of clear epoxy resin. We DO NOT use quick-fix chemicals that cause permanent damage to the lights.

One of Our All Time Favorites, 1992 Lexus SC300 Overall Paint Job
The 1991-2000 Lexus SC is one of the best and most beautiful cars ever made (and in the interest of full disclosure, we think Lexus went the opposite direction for the 2001-2010 SC.) That is why this example is our Almost Everything Car of the Day. We fixed dents and rust, replace a few parts, feathered out any chips & scratches, then repainted the whole car in a new color using our Urethane 2-stage, Base Coat-Clear Coat paint. To top it off, we restored the headlights to their original clarity. We think the results are spectacular.

Allen Swift and his 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom I |
The car itself, even without its special history, is an amazing vehicle. It is a Rolls Royce Phantom I Picadilly Roadster, serial number S273 FP. It is one of the few Rolls Royces made in the USA in Springfield Massachusetts between 1921 and 1931, a "Springfield Rolls,"

Swift drove the car for over 80 years and museum directors say that it still runs well and very quietly after 170 thousand miles. In later years it mainly did parade duty. The car was originally a gift from Swift's father in return for giving up college to stay with the family business.

The car was repainted in 1988 by Automotive Restorations, Inc. and Swift, already 85, drove it home with the top down.
