Paint condition: Peeling or Delaminating Clear Coat
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1999 Plymouth Voyager that has clear coat peeling off in large patches. This is what happens to most car paint after it has been exposed to the sun for a number of years. It gets a sunburn. Almost Everything reconditioned this delaminating paint plus fixed some dents and repainted the entire van.
Thanks to Fabrizio Costantini, Channon Hodge and the New York Times for this great video of Margaret Dunning, who looks & sounds much younger than her 101 years and the gorgeous 1930 Packard roadster that she bought in 1949 and has driven ever since.
Before: Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2008 Dodge Charger that was vandalized. Every panel had been dented & scratched. The owner was on a tight budget so he had a friend repair the dents, removed tail lights & trim himself then had Almost Everything Autobody provide a base-coat/clear coat paint job to match the original paint.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2010 Ford Fusion that encountered an obstacle at one of San Jose State's very tight parking spots. Almost Everything did seamless dent repair and matched the factory paint. We loved it when the vehicle owner said, "I can't tell anything happened!"
