Today's customer needed a new door plus repairs to scrapes that went all the way down the passenger side of the car. She had insurance to cover the damage. Since half of her car was already getting repainted, she took the opportunity to change the color on the whole car. In cases like this, we simply write 2 orders: one for the insurance part of the repair and one for any additional work a customer wants to do. We credit the customer for any duplicate costs.
This 2006 Ford F-350 is a great truck that was looking a little old. We repaired some dings & dents and painted the whole thing a new color that made it look brand new. This is an example of our economical Enamel paint.
Tired of your car? Or just hate the color? How about a new color instead of a new car!
Some caveats: don't change the color if your car is leased or you plan to sell it anytime soon.
Otherwise come to the shop to see sample colors and decide if you only need the outside (least expensive option) or if you want to pay to have the inside of your door jambs, under the hood and trunk painted too. The State of California does not record car colors. You will not need to report anything to the Department of Motor Vehicles. So pick a new color and start loving your car again.
Please note: we do not offer removing the engine, interior, windows, gaskets, wiring, hydralics, etc.
Today's car is a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. It came to us side-swiped and with frame damage. We replaced a quarter panel, fender, door, bumpers, lights, spoilers and lots of chrome. The car is painted Ford "CX" Smokey Grey Metallic in base coat/clear coat with matte black spoilers and rally stripes.
