Monterey Car Week 2022

2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello designed by Maurizio Corbi at Pininfarina
We are lucky to be in California and a short drive from the annual Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance and "Monterey Car Week." I played hooky yesterday to attend an event honoring Maurizio Corbi, the award-winning designer for Ghia, Bertone and Pininfarina. Corbi was instrumental in the designs of the Ferrari F456, F50, F355, and 550 Maranello. See more about Maurizio at Cardesign | Maurizio Corbi Art & Design.

2022 marks the Ferrari Club of America's 60th anniversary. So there were a LOT of Ferraris and famous Ferrari people in town for the festivities.

The craziest "Batmobile" I've ever seen parked at a curb in Carmel
This must have been Batman's first Batmobile (or maybe his great-grandfather's Batmobile.) It was parked on a street corner in Carmel. The speedometer shows that it is certified by Gotham Police. It has special features like Bat-Claxon, Bat-Light
