Car of the Day - 1988 BMW 735i Overall Auto Paint, Bumper Repair & Pinstripes

The customer who owns this BMW had someone else start the bodywork before he brought it to Almost Everything. The bodywork had not been completed and there were still some scrapes and gouges in the bumpers that needed to be repaired. Almost Everything fixed the bumpers and applied a 2-part epoxy primer to the areas where there was exposed body filler. We block sanded both the old and new body work to make sure the body lines were correct and everything was smooth. Then we painted the whole car with our Signature 2-Stage Base-Clear Paint Service. We also restored the matte black trim on the bumpers, door handles, window mouldings, side mouldings and rocker panels. Finally, we put pinstripes on the car. The owner had taken the tail lights and BMW emblems off himself and planned to replace them after he picked-up the car. Before:

Car of the Day - 1995 Toyota Camry "Cheap" Paint Job

Today's Camry was overdue for a paint job as you can see in the pictures below. The original paint had failed and was peeling off. The car had also been in an accident or two and some of the body panels did not match the rest of the car. The customer did not think the car was worth much and did not want to spend a lot to paint it. But he also wanted to have a car that would not be an eyesore in his neighborhood or to his wife. So he opted for Almost Everything's least expensive Ambassador paint job. Nothing to be embarrassed about after Almost Everything finished painting it. And he saved hundreds or even thousands over what he would pay at other body shops.

Today's Honda was involved in a classic "fender bender." The passenger side fender and the front bumper were dented and scraped. There was also a bracket that holds the bumper on that was bent. We replaced the bumper cover and bumper bracket. We repaired the dents in the fender. Then we repainted these parts with our OEM Factory Platinum paint that comes with a lifetime warranty.

Almost Everything Milestones: 3000th Vehicle Repaired-98% Customer Satisfaction

Thank you to our many loyal customers and our terrific crew for achieving an important milestone. Almost Everything Autobody took in our 3000th vehicle for repair on August 6, 2010, just 28th months after we opened this new facility on Centralmont Place in Fremont, California. To repair over 1000 vehicles per year requires a well-trained and dedicated staff.

The economic recession that started in 2008 hit us like it hit everyone. Our revenues declined and we had to lay-off employees. So we lowered prices to both help our customers make ends meet and to keep our experienced technicians working. What happened next surprised us.

During the worst part of the recession, our business grew rapidly. We started hiring back employees and even hired new employees. In Spring 2010 we increased capacity 15%. A few months later we increased capacity again, by another 20%.

At the same time, our customer satisfaction score increased to 98% as measured by the independent industry watchdog agency CSI Complete.

So thanks again to our customers who have honored us with their business and our great employees who work hard to keep our customers happy.
