2005 Mini Cooper S Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2005 Mini Cooper S.  This hot hatch came to Almost-Everything as a multicolored...thing.  Luckily with auto paint being our specialty, we knew exactly what to do to get this Mini back on the road catching eyes as it is supposed to! The car's owner decided to have us repaint the car in its original black color, which we did after we completed all of our much needed prep work.  Every paint job that Almost-Everything offers comes with all of the "Basic" prep work.  We chemically clean the car to remove foreign contaminants, scuff the surface with an abrasive hand pad to promote adhesion of the new paint, and maskin off of all windows, lights, and trim. Once these steps are completed the entire exterior of the car is painted and finally baked in our massive oven to cure the new finish onto the car!

Star Trek, Spock(s) and Audi

Almost nothing to do with Almost Everything Autobody EXCEPT that some of us here have loved Star Trek since the 1960's (others only since the 1990's) and we are always fans of cool cars. This video puts 'em all together (with 2 Spocks no less!)

Our friend Tod says that old Spock needs to have said "illogical" when his golf clubs won't fit in the trunk!

2000 Honda Civic Repaint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2000 Honda Civic Si. This sporty little gas saver came to our shop as two different cars, the front end had recently been replaced with another Civic's front, leaving the whole car mismatched and ugly. Luckily this Honda didn't have many problems with its existing paint, so the owner decided to stick with our basic prep work; Chemically cleaning the car, scuffing the existing paint surfaces, masking off all windows and trim, complete exterior paint and a final bake in our oven! As you can see many older cars can look 100x better with just a simple paint job!

Lotus Elise Squashed Like a Bug

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a diminutive 2005 Lotus Elise that got even smaller when a Ford Five Hundred drove on top of it. WreckedExotics.com reports that an old woman making a left hand turn just drove right up and over the Lotus--you can see the tire tracks up the hood and over the windshield!

World's Most Baffling Vehicle

Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet

We've missed Axis of Oversteer. They provided us this photo of the new Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet with the caption "This has to be one of the world's most baffling vehicles." I saw one recently on the road near San Francisco. Sadly, it doesn't look any better in the flesh. But someone did need to fill the void left by those 1990's Suzuki X90s that have at this point mostly expired.

Side-Swiped Aston Martin

What would you do if you found your car sideswiped in a garage? Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is an Aston Martin DBS and if it happened to us, we'd be gleeful that we owned an Aston Martin! Then, of course, we'd be rather upset! Wonder if this can be fixed for less than our $1000 deductible? Uh. . . probably not.

Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary

Almost Everything Auto Body Repair & Paint celebrates the 50th anniversary of the October 30, 1963 founding of Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. We've collected photos of some of our favorite Lamborghinis. Some have been gorgeous cars. . . and some we would be hard pressed to call beautiful but were none-the-less brutally fast and always fascinating.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am Overall Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. This car came to Almost Everything looking dazed and confused. Its front half was flat primer-ish looking black while the rear was gloss black. The reason for the color difference is because some body panels were replaced at some point and were never painted! We began the repainting process with all of our basics: a chemical cleaning to remove old road contaminants clinging to the paint, then masking off all of the car's windows lights and trim. This car's owner made a wise decision and chose to seal the car prior to paint with our basic primer-sealer to promote adhesion and longevity of the final finish. The car was now ready for paint. We repainted the exterior with our Enamel paint in its original color!

1996 Acura Integra Re-Painted by Almost-Everything

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Acura Integra. This hatchback came to Almost Everything looking terrible! The original paint had seen it's better days and was peeling or "Delaminating" off the car in big ugly flaky sheets, leaving the existing surface dull and unattractive. Many of the cars that Almost-Everything paints actually start off in this condition! Our process is proven to provide great results at a bargain price. On this particular car we began by heavily sanding the old peeling paint down to a smooth, paintable surface and masked off all of the remaining trim, windows etc. that were not supposed to be painted. Once our final prep was finished we moved the Acura into the paint booth where a few coats of Sealer were applied to the raw surfaces all around the car. Finally the little luxurious hatchback was ready for its new paint job, we applied our Enamel paint in the car's original "Cypress Green Pearl" color, and returned it to its owner looking shiny and new again!

2014 Corvette Stingray Wreck!

How is this even possible? Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. It isn't even on the market yet! We get this scoop from our friends at WreckedExotics.com. In their article, they quote General Motors as saying, "During evaluation, the inside tire caught the edge of the pavement during a tight corner, leading to the accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt, the car received only minor damage, and no citations were issued." Hard to believe this is minor damage. . . but nothing we couldn't fix!

1999 Honda Accord Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Honda Accord. This car had all of the typical "Honda Problems" things such as; Peeling or "delaminating" clear coat, a condition called Microchecking, and just an overall dull looking finish. We repaired these problems starting with some heavy sanding, some areas had to be taken down to the bare metal while other areas simply had the delaminating paint removed, this process creates a smooth, paintable surface. After our sanding was complete the car was sealed with our basic primer sealer to cover up any bare metal areas and give the new paint a surface to "bite" onto. Finally it was ready for new paint. We refinished the exterior with our Enamel + UV protectant paint in its original color and returned the car to its thrilled owner! Also check out our Youtube channel for more of our recent cars and transformations!

1937 Jaguar SS 100 Collision Repair!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is our very own 1937 Jaguar SS 100.  It was an unfortunate day when we discovered our shop's pride and joy had been the victim of a brutal hit and run.  It appears that it may have been side swiped by a shoe, causing some gruesome damage.  The windsheild was broken, the front license plate brackets had been sheared clean off, and its rear left wheel was lost at the time of the accident. Luckily we recovered all of the parts missing off of the car and restored it back to its original condition! The car is on display in our office, come by and check it out today!
