Todays wreck of the day was unfortunately deemed a "Total Loss" by our customers insurance. When vehicles are damaged to the point that the repair costs are more than the car is worth the insurance will determine if it is a total loss or not. Thankfully our customer was okay but their 2008 Acura TL is not. This vehicle qualifies for our "Almost" list here at Almost Everything Autobody!

Collision Repair on Toyota Avalon
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1996 Toyota Avalon. This was a case where the shop advised the customer that it was probably more economical to buy another used car than to repair this one. But many people think this version of the Avalon is nicer that similar Lexuses and the engine has a well deserved reputation for durability. So the customer decided to repair his car instead of taking chances with a used car of unknown reliability and less luxury.
We replaced the hood, bumper, grill, radiator support, lights, hood latch, A/C condenser and radiator and repainted the front end with factory paint.

What's with "Almost" Everything?!!
Every week we get asked what the "Almost" means in Almost Everything Auto Body. This car is a good example." It was a beautiful and well loved by its owners. Sadly, it was too badly damaged to fix. Some of the things we showed the customer were the doors pushed back and down over the rear panels. The frame was crushed like an accordion AND sagging in the middle. Repairs would cost more than the car was worth and probably not get the car back to original condition. The owner plans to put the engine, wheels and any other valuable components, into a donor chassis then bring it back to us to match the original paint job.

"Almost" Everything - We'll Tell You It's Time to Give Up
Many people ask us what the "Almost" means in our name. This truck is a good example. Although we could fix it, we told the owner that he was better off buying another vehicle. In addition to the obvious damage, the frame was twisted and the suspension had problems. If someone were to fix it, we'd be afraid to ride in it. It was definitely a total loss. You could probably buy a nice used F-150 for less than half of what it would cost to fix this one.

Totalled 2001 Honda Accord.
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2001 Honda Accord. This poor sedan was the victim of a forceful utility vehicle. It was rear-ended and pushed into an intersection causing an incredible amount of damage to the Accord! All insurance information was exchanged by both parties. However the owner of the Honda could not make contact with anybody at the other party's insurance company! He came to us for help. We got in contact with the appropriate people and immediately got him into a rental vehicle so this unsafe car would be off public roads. The damage is so severe that we expect it will be written off as a total loss. We can help solve many issues between you and an insurance company, don't hesitate to stop by our shop and get our help!

1937 Jaguar SS 100 Collision Repair!
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is our very own 1937 Jaguar SS 100. It was an unfortunate day when we discovered our shop's pride and joy had been the victim of a brutal hit and run. It appears that it may have been side swiped by a shoe, causing some gruesome damage. The windsheild was broken, the front license plate brackets had been sheared clean off, and its rear left wheel was lost at the time of the accident. Luckily we recovered all of the parts missing off of the car and restored it back to its original condition! The car is on display in our office, come by and check it out today!

1998 Frankenstang Brought Back From the Dead!
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Ford Mustang. This car happens to belong to one of our team members who completed most of the bodywork himself including replacing many body panels/lights/emblems etc. over the course of a few months. He also completed all other prep-work before the overall paint job and is very proud of his finished project!

Totalled Ford GT
Speaking of the Most Beautiful Cars in the World, Jalopnik is reporting a Ford GT that was wrecked by a tuner at a total loss (of a $200,000.00 car!) They include a really sad set of photos.
We were fortunate to have had a Ford GT at the shop a couple of years ago. The owner let the entire crew sit in it (which was a very big deal because we are a dirty bunch after sanding cars all day!)
