1986 Volkswagen Westfalia Overhaul!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1986 Volkswagen Westfalia. This mini RV came to our shop with mismatched, faded, old unsightly paint all over! In addition to the failing paint, lots of rust decided to join the party. This van is the owners baby. He had restored it mechanically. He came to us to put a long lasting, quality paint on it. After all of the body repairs and prep work was completed, we repainted it with our "factory-type" of base coat/clear coat paint!

1967 Pontiac Firebird Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This classic muscle car came to Almost-Everything looking pretty beat. There were rust holes in some body panels, old bodywork that was not too interested in looking great anymore and its paint had faded from years of being outside in the sun. We began our restoration by replacing the unusable rear right body panel with a new reproduction panel made specifically for rusted/damaged areas which was provided to us by the car's owner. Once that was completed we began smoothing and "re-skimming" over the old body work so it would not show through the cars new upcoming paint job. Once the specified areas were smooth, we applied a primer sealer and finally repainted the entire exterior of the vehicle with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!

1989 Nissan Hardbody Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1989 Nissan Hardbody pickup. This mini-truck came to Almost Everything with its original paint looking worn and unsightly. In some areas the paint actually had completely worn off leaving a bare metal surface, which was now rusting. We began our process by grinding down and treating the rust in certain customer specified areas, then removing all of the additional minor chips and scratches all around the truck. Next we sealed the entire exterior with a primer, which coats the existing surface and gives the new paint something to "bite" onto. Lastly we refinished the truck with our Enamel + UV Protectant paint in its original color!

1984 Dodge Ram Van Restored!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1984 Dodge Ram Van. This old-school conversion van came to our shop in dire need of lots and lots of help. As the pictures show, all of its original paint had either failed or had been sanded completely off! Since bare metal rusts extremely quickly we got it inside our shop as soon as we could, and began a sanding process of our own. We started by removing all of the old, failing paint with an extremely abrasive power sander, this took the exterior of the van down to bare metal in most areas. Once the sanding had been finished it was ready for primer, we sealed the entire van with our premium "Etching Primer"--a sealer that "eats" into the surface that it is applied to. As soon as the sealer was applied, the van was ready for two coats of new paint. The owner decided to have the van refinished with our "Bay Blue Effect" Enamel + UV protectant paint, for a long lasting durable finish that stands out from the crowd!

1972 Datsun 510 Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1972 Datsun 510. This classic car came to us in hideous condition, the paint had been sanded off years ago causing the bare metal to rust very quickly, and there was lots of unfinished body work! We repaired a few major dents and unfinished body work that the customer requested, scuffed up the existing bare metal surfaces, sealed everything with a primer, and painted the whole car with our Enamel paint in its original blue color!

2001 CHEVROLET SILVERADO

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. It is a work truck had been in some kind of accident and the owner replaced the bed with one from a junkyard. The salvaged bed was the wrong color and appeared to have been off a truck that had burned. All of the paint on the front of the bed was scorched off and the metal was rusting. We reconditioned the rust and painted just the bed to match the original white of the cab.
