1995 Chevrolet Tahoe Paint Overhaul!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Chevy Tahoe.  This mini SUV started out with no shortage of terrible old paint. Its original clear coat had failed over years of being beaten by the sun's harmful rays causing the top layer to look white, also the base layer of primer had failed causing lots of crack or "check" marks in the top surface! These paint defects would cause the new paint to look terrible if we simply painted over them, so we stripped the hood, roof, and both fenders down to the bare metal, ridding them of all of the checking primer.  The rest of the truck we sanded what was left of the old peeling clear coat down to a smooth paintable surface.  After masking, the truck was sealed with a primer and finally painted in its original color with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!

2004 Infiniti i35 Collision Repair!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2004 Infiniti i35. This mid-sized luxury sedan came to Almost-Everything with not just a dent, but a gash running straight through the rear drivers side quarter panel! In addition to the gash needing repairs, the rear left door was damaged so severely it needed to be replaced! We began by welding the gash shut and repairing the rest of the damage on that same panel while we waited for our replacement door to arrive from our original recycled parts supplier. Once the door arrived we installed it after painting the inside jamb. By the time the door was finished being installed, the repairs to the torn rear panel were all finished up, making this car ready for paint! We repainted the rear left quarter panel, door, and "blended" paint onto the front left door for an even repair with no hard breaks or differences in color!

Almost-Everything's Summer Bumper Special!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Saab 900.  For the most part this cars paint was in great condition, but there was one exception, the rear bumper!  After years of getting bumped in parking lots and taking small poundings from other vehicles bumpers, this Saab's bumper had enough.  Its paint had nearly completely cracked off in some areas!  Before we could apply our paint, we repaired all of the cracked, peeling, chipped areas, smoothing them out so they would not show through the new paint.  We refinished the bumper with our enviromentally friendly "Water-Based Paint" and returned it back to its owner looking shiny and new again!
