1990 Mazda Miata Re-Paint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata. This micro-sized import roadster came to our shop with a few different paint jobs clinging to its body panels, and its owner was tired of the car looking like that. He also however did not want to spend $5000.00 on a new paint job for a car he may sell in the near future. He decided to go with our basic Enamel paint package, also opting for a bit of additional sanding of rock chips and scratches, and a primer sealer. Once we completed all of the prep work, sanding, and primer steps we refinished the car with its original color, and returned it to its owner looking new again!

2003 Lexus LS430 Collision Repair

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2003 Lexus LS430. This luxurious land yacht came to our shop with some severe damage to its front end! It had recently been in a collision with a truck. Sadly for this Lexus, the truck won. The front fender, bumper cover, and headlight were in terrible shape and required replacement. Since this repair was coming out of the owner's pocket we did the most we could to keep cost down while maintaining factory parts and looks! The replacement parts came direct from the original manufacturer. Once they arrived at our shop we refinished them to match the rest of the car and blended a bit of new paint onto the panels neighboring the replacement parts to avoid any variation in paint color. We turned this wrecked Lexus back into its old luxurious self in no time!

Lloyd Read signed autographs and held a news conference at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during 2013 Indy 500 Weekend. He piloted the Almost Everything-JDC Motorsports formula car in the Star Mazda Championship "Road to Indy" race during the weekend's events at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis.

  

Read is the 2011 Champion of the Goodyear Formula Car Challenge Series and led the championship again in 2012 until crashes caused by other drivers put him out of contention. In 2013 Read moves up to the Star Mazda "Road to Indy" championship series.

1991 Honda Civic Si Re-Paint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1991 Honda Civic Si. This classic hatchback came to our shop looking like an old worn-out beater. There was a fairly large dent in the quarter panel and its original paint was getting pretty tired looking after 22 years of sun and elements! We began by repairing the big unsightly dent on the right rear, then cleaned up and scuffed the rest of the exterior surfaces.  Once the prep work had been completed we refinished the entire exterior with our Enamel paint in the car's original color!

2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Insurance Repair

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car came to our shop with an insurance claim already written up and ready to be repaired. We can work directly with any insurance company, all we need are a couple signatures and a claim number! You can relax knowing that we are handling all of your repairs for you directly with your insurance company. This car was a fairly straight forward repair. Its entire front bumper assembly needed to be replaced. We obtained all of the replacement parts and matched them to the original black color with our factory quality paint!

2000 Honda Civic Overall Paintjob

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is this 2000 Honda Civic Sedan.  This greenish / greyish / whitish four-door came to Almost-Everything with an abundance of unfinished primer and plenty of unattravtive old paint.  We restored the looks of this car with our Enamel paint package, which includes all of the nesasarry prep to get paint onto a car;

1. A Chemical Cleaning to remove all stubborn stuck on road contaminants

2. Scuffing of all painted areas with an abrasive hand pad to promote paint adhesion

3. Masking of all windows, lights, and unpainted trim pieces.

4. Overall painting of the exterior.

5. A final bake in our oven to cure the new finish on!

1995 Acura Integra Type-R Replica

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Acura Integra. The owner of this import came to our shop looking for a very particular paint job; Phoenix Yellow from the "Integra Type-R." Since the actual Integra Type-R is a very rare car this ones owner decided to transform his into a replica. The car came to us with nothing remaining of its original paint, an outside source had performed all of the requested bodywork and applied a coat of some sort of primer sealer. We began with a chemical cleaning, removing all road contaminants like bugs, tar, etc. and scuffed the existing primer sealer with an abrasive hand pad. Naturally, most people dont like painted windows too much, so avoid counter that problem we masked off all of the windows to prevent overspray. After masking, the Integra was ready for our own coat of primer sealer and the new coat of Phoenix Yellow paint!
