Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2001 Honda Accord. This Accord came in with the usual bad Honda paint; Chipping, Fading and Peeled all over. Before we could put some paint on we strongly reccomended lots of sanding to remove the old failed paint. The car's owner agreed, we promptly began sanding off all of the sunburned original paint down to a smooth, paintable level. Once complete we applied a "Primer Sealer" to provide our new paint a surface that it likes to stick onto. Lastly we applied our new coat of "Enamel Single Stage" Paint, which beleive it or not is one our basic paints that we offer, for an amazingly shiny finish that didnt cost this car's owner an arm and a leg!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1999 Mercury Villager Minivan. This people mover came to our shop as many late 1990's vehicles do, its paint was peeling, faded and quite ugly. We started by first removing the peeling or "delaminating" paint, smoothing all of the old jagged edges of paint down to an even, paintable surface. Next up was primer-sealer; we applied a coat before paint to ensure proper adhesion. Finally its beautiful, original color was painted on with our Enamel paint, losing the "2 tone" color scheme for a more modern look!
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is this 1995 Toyota Camry. This car had many of the common problems commonly found on this generation of camrys, such as the peeling "delaminating" paint, some microchecking (a condition where the primer beneath the paint fails creating a "checked" looking surface), and some minor dents and surface scratches. We repaired / removed the paint in these areas, worked out a few dings, primed and repainted the car with its original black color.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1991 Honda CRX. This vehicle came to us wounded and mangled, it had been involved in a rear-end collision and many of its parts were damaged. We began by repairing the damage on the cars "quarter panel" while we waited for the replacement bumper and taillights to arrive. Our next step was to remove the "Delaminating" paint on the top of the car. We sanded the terrible original paint until it was smooth, and sealed the newly scuffed surface with a primer. Once we recived the replacement parts we painted the entire outside of the vehicle, re-assembled the back of the car, and returned this CRX back to its owner straight and shining like new again!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1989 Mercedes 190e. This car came into our lot with a mismatched fender, instead of matching just the fender, the owner decided to refinish the entire car black, and lose the grey "Two Tone", with our Enamel paint package and had this classic Mercedes shining like new again!
Almost Everything Car Paint'sCar of the Day is a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro. This iconic muscle car came to us with lots of old unfinished primer on it. We began by removing all of the old unwanted stickers and decals. We then scuffed up the existing surface with an abrasive pad, sealed the fresh surface with a Primer Sealer, and finally we painted the whole car "Frost White" with our Enamel paint!
