Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a "gold plated" Audi R8 in Hamburg, Germany. We're not sure there is any actual gold involved. . . other than the money that went down the drain when this happened. As is most often the case, the driver was at fault. He ran after a police chase ended when he hit parked cars. It isn't clear if it was the owner who was driving or a thief who the owner claims took the car.

1998 Toyota Rav4 Wreck of the day!
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Toyota Rav4 that was involved in an accident. Unfortunately for the Rav, its front end had been severely damaged. We began by removing the wrecked panels to check for any hidden damage, and replacing or repairing the mangled parts as needed. Once the "Body Repair" portion had been completed, we refinished the repaired areas to match the paint on the rest of the vehicle!

Ferrari F40 Destroyed
This is downright painful to watch. Video of Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day: a Ferrari F40. Created to celebrate the Ferrari company's 40th anniversary and designed to be the world's greatest supercar. Only 1,315 were made from 1987 to 1992. Buyers reportedly paid anywhere from US $400,000 to US $1,600,000 and the cars still trade for that much today. WreckedExotics.com reports that the Ferrari was returning from a car show in Vancouver, Canada when the driver lost control in the rain and hit a pole. The car is valuable enough that it will probably be rebuilt but the video shows that there is a lot of work that will need to be done.

Oops! Lotus Elise Epic Fail
Surprising for a car with some of the best braking stats on the planet. Not sure how this Lotus Elise managed to find its way under the tail of this taxi cab. Maybe the cab was backing up. . . quickly.

The car was a Bentley Continental GTC Convertible with a "base" price of $205K USD. The story is that a young man on a mountain road converted it into a very expensive piece of twisted junk. Thanks to our buddies at WreckedExotics.com for finding it.
Here's what one looks like without the mountainside modifications.

Jaguar E-Type Wreck in Argentina
E-Type participating in a vintage race was destroyed in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It hit a wall. Sad that this super-car from the 1960's survived this long but I guess it's one of those things where it went out doing what it did best. Thanks to the guys at WreckedExotics.com for letting us know about it.
