Crunch! Collision Repairs on 2010 Prius

This poor Prius had a bad day. We replaced the bumper, headlamp, wiring harness, fender, wheel, door and some internal parts and repainted everything with the factory paint. The story ends happily with the insurance company paying for repairs and the Prius good as new.

Things to Look for After an Accident

Bumpers are designed to take minor hits without showing much damage. Generally it's a good thing. But when the bumpers pop back into shape, they can hide damage. Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a good example. This 2000 Civic was hit from behind in the center of the bumper. There's a dent on the corner but that is actually from a previous accident. The photos below show some telltale signs that there may be more damage than is obvious on the surface.

Panel gaps up to 1/4" and sometimes even 1/2" can be normal but this one is approx. 1" and is uneven.

Toyota Avalon Accident Damage

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2012 Toyota Avalon with some ugly collision damage. The bumper was torn off. The headlamp, grill, wheel, fender and door were all damaged and a foglamp and some internal parts were simply gone. The customer's insurance company paid for repairs. This car had a 3-stage pearl white paint which is beautiful but also notoriously difficult to match. Can you tell the car had this much repair work done in the after photos?

2015 Chevrolet Silverado Rear-Ended

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a truck. . . a top of the line, barely off the lot, 2015 Chevy K1500 Silverado LT Crew Cab 4x4. As bad as this damage looks, we're sure the car that rear ended the Silverado faired worse. We realigned the frame, replaced the bed side, tailgate, bumper, exhaust system, catalytic converters and more. Then we repainted using factory matched paint. Our customer told us, "It looks like nother ever happened!" Thanks.

Collision Repair on Honda Accord

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2003 Honda Accord. We had painted this car four or five years ago with our urethane base coat-clear coat paint. The owner said she was happy with our work so she returned when her car, unfortunately, got hit. The bumper, door and quarter panel and wheel all had dents and scrapes. We repaired all of the damage, realigned the frame and suspension and matched the paint. This repair went through Ameriprise Insurance but we work with all insurance companies and even with people who don't have insurance coverage. We also arranged for a rental car that the customer was able to drop-off at our shop when she picked up her car.
