Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a peeling 2004 Nissan Sentra. This Nissan spends most of its time outside. The sun doesn't have mercy on paint. Its harmful UV rays can make even a relatively new car's paint fail in no time! We fixed this unsightly problem by first removing all of the failing paint, then masking off all of the unpainted areas of the car. Next we applied a primer-sealer and finally its new coat of Enamel + UV Protectant paint!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2004 Ford Mustang GT. This mellow-colored mustang came to our shop needing some serious help in the looks department. The original paint had faded to a dull, lifeless orange over the years as well as the headlights and other trim pieces. We refinished this pony with our Base Coat + Clear Coat paint for an exceptionally glossy finish that will last for years to come! Since orange is such a bright color, and there is such thing as "Too Much Orange" the owner wanted to add an old-school muscle car inspired "Break" in colors, he asked us to repaint the hood scoop and spoiler flat black like the original Mach 1 Mustangs had!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2006 Acura TL. This car is inspired by the "VIP" styled cars of Japan; low, luxurious, and typically jet black. This particular black paint from Honda has a heavy blue metallic flake, making the car appear black at night or in the shade, but transforms to a deep blue in the sunlight! The TL was refinished using our "Two Stage Base Coat / Clear Coat" paint and the color is named "Nighthawk Black"
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1995 Chevy Tahoe. This mini SUV started out with no shortage of terrible old paint. Its original clear coat had failed over years of being beaten by the sun's harmful rays causing the top layer to look white, also the base layer of primer had failed causing lots of crack or "check" marks in the top surface! These paint defects would cause the new paint to look terrible if we simply painted over them, so we stripped the hood, roof, and both fenders down to the bare metal, ridding them of all of the checking primer. The rest of the truck we sanded what was left of the old peeling clear coat down to a smooth paintable surface. After masking, the truck was sealed with a primer and finally painted in its original color with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1991 Honda Civic Si. This classic hatchback came to our shop looking like an old worn-out beater. There was a fairly large dent in the quarter panel and its original paint was getting pretty tired looking after 22 years of sun and elements! We began by repairing the big unsightly dent on the right rear, then cleaned up and scuffed the rest of the exterior surfaces. Once the prep work had been completed we refinished the entire exterior with our Enamel paint in the car's original color!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1994 Toyota Camry. We love Camrys. We have painted thousands of them. This Toyota didn't have the typical peeling, flaky paint problem, however it did have a lot of faded non-glossy matte looking paint. We performed all of our "basic prep" and repaired a little imperfection in the rear bumper that was bugging this car's owner for years. The entire exterior was repainted with our Enamel paint using the original Toyota color code and finally returned to its thrilled owner looking shiny and new again!
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1998 Honda CR-V. When this little SUV came to our shop it looked confused, many of its panels did not match and were not even shiny! Instead of driving the poor thing around looking like that, the owner made the right decision and chose to get the Honda refinished with our Enamel paint in the car's original color!
