2000 Pontiac Grand Am Overall Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. This car came to Almost Everything looking dazed and confused. Its front half was flat primer-ish looking black while the rear was gloss black. The reason for the color difference is because some body panels were replaced at some point and were never painted! We began the repainting process with all of our basics: a chemical cleaning to remove old road contaminants clinging to the paint, then masking off all of the car's windows lights and trim. This car's owner made a wise decision and chose to seal the car prior to paint with our basic primer-sealer to promote adhesion and longevity of the final finish. The car was now ready for paint. We repainted the exterior with our Enamel paint in its original color!

1999 Honda Accord Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Honda Accord. This car had all of the typical "Honda Problems" things such as; Peeling or "delaminating" clear coat, a condition called Microchecking, and just an overall dull looking finish. We repaired these problems starting with some heavy sanding, some areas had to be taken down to the bare metal while other areas simply had the delaminating paint removed, this process creates a smooth, paintable surface. After our sanding was complete the car was sealed with our basic primer sealer to cover up any bare metal areas and give the new paint a surface to "bite" onto. Finally it was ready for new paint. We refinished the exterior with our Enamel + UV protectant paint in its original color and returned the car to its thrilled owner! Also check out our Youtube channel for more of our recent cars and transformations!

1967 Volkswagen Beetle Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.  This classic peoples car came to Almost-Everything with decent looking paint, however the surfaces beneath the paint were starting to fail or rust causing cracks, bubbles, and other unsightly blemishes.  We started the repairs by first going over and repairing all of the owner-specified areas such as; treating rust, repairing dings and a couple dents.  Once the body repairs were completed the car moved into masking where all of its windows, lights, trim pieces were masked off. Finally the car was moved into our booth where the entire exterior was refinished with its original color "Savanna Beige" in our Enamel paint grade!

Employee Project: 1998 Honda Civic

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Honda Civic.  This car belongs to one of our team member's significant other. The car was recently "side swiped" causing some unsightly damage on the rear left side of the body,  we quickly straightened that damaged portion out. Instead of simply repainting the repaired section like most "normal people" would do, our employee decided to change out the entire front end and completely repaint the whole car with Honda's "Championship White" color Enamel paint for a more aggressive look.  Contrary to popular belief, the new more aggressive looking front end did not add any additional horsepower or torque to the car, it did however make for one extremely happy girlfriend!

1987 Porsche 944 Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo.  This classic sports car came to Almost-Everything with mis-matched body panels, unfinished body work and downright ugly all over. The owner has a small fleet of beautiful cars, one of which was painted "tornado red", a color that fit this porsche much better than its original white! Before we could lay on our new paint, the owner requested that we finish the existing bodywork. We began by smoothing and skimming over the existing body filler, and recreating the lost body lines. Next we sanded out all of the rock chips and scratches, and masked off all of the cars windows, lights, and trim.  Once the prep work was finished, the car was sealed with a primer and finally painted with our Enamel paint!

1963 Volkswagen Bug Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle.  This Peoples Car came to our shop with many different colors on it---Flat Black, Glossy-ish black, and a bit of Grey primer, there was also some bodywork that needed our attention.  We started by smoothing out all of the dings, dents, and gouges that the car's owner specified to be fixed.  Next we applied a Primer-Sealer to give the new paint something to "bite" onto.  Lastly we refinished the entire exterior of the car with our Urethane + Integrated Clear coat paint! The color that was applied to the Bug came right out of our color swatch book and is called "Black Pearl".

1970 Dodge Pickup Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1970 Dodge D200 Pickup. This old workhorse came to our shop looking downright beat. The remaining substance that used to be paint just wasn't doing well anymore. The owner decided to take care of some of the bodywork on the truck prior to dropping it off for paint. We began with our Light Chip and Scratch repair, a light sanding around the entire body of the truck to smooth out any rock chips and scratches. After this, the truck's surface was ready for our Primer Sealer, once the final coat of sealer was ready we refinished the entire outside of the truck with our Enamel + UV Protectant paint in the truck's original color!
