That First Scratch

BMW 535i in for scrape repairs at Almost Everything Auto Body

It happens to all of us. In a moment of inattention we hear a nasty scraping noise. Or maybe we have no idea how it happened. Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a brand new BMW. Making a gnarly scrape vanish: not much money. Not having to see the gnarly scrape every day for 5 years: priceless.

1972 Chevy Nova Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1972 Chevrolet Nova. This old muscle car came to our shop faded, chipped and overall tattered looking. Being the iconic car that it is, its owner decided to let us work our magic by first sanding the chips, scratches and nicks out of the old paint while also stripping the roof. Next we sealed the freshly sanded panels using a primer-sealer. Finally the car was ready for its new paint, which we applied in our "Single Stage Enamel" in the car's original color!

Acura RSX Paint Job

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2002 Acura RSX.  This car came to our shop partially prepped, multicolored, and ugly all over. We remedied this issue by first sanding down any rough areas that would show through the new paint, spraying on a primer sealer and painting the entire exterior of the Acura using our Enamel Single Stage paint!

1965 Mustang Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1965 Ford Mustang. This classic muscle car came to our shop with its looks on steady a downward decline. Its last paint job had begun to fade years ago and, unfortunately, as many old cars have, it had the dreaded "rust spots" bubbling beneath the paint. We began by grinding out, treating and filling the rust damage, then sanded the old paint to remove rock chips and scratches. Once sanding was complete we sealed the fresh surfaces with a primer and finally repainted it using Ford's original "Rangoon Red" color, in our "Single Stage Urethane" paint!

1994 Jaguar Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1994 Jaguar XJ6.  This Classic luxury car came to our shop looking not so luxurious.  Its paint had failed years ago, leaving behind remenants of old clear coat and exposed patches of the dull base coat, making it vulnerable to the elements. We began by removing all of the peeling and chipped paint, while some panels needed to be stripped to bare metal, which is quite common on most Jaguars. Once sanding was complete, we sealed the car with a primer, Painted it with our Enamel Single Stage paint, and finally baked the car in our oven to cure the finish on!

1989 Convertible E30 BMW Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1989 BMW "E30" Convertible. This drop top came to our shop missing its paint. The owner decided it was time to restore the looks of his Bimmer. Upon drop-off there was lots of peeling paint, chips, scratches and ugliness that needed our attention. We began by removing all of the bad "Peeling" or "Delaminating" paint, along with the chips and scratches. Next step was to seal the car with a primer, then finally we painted the car using our "Single Stage Enamel" paint in the car's original color!

2000 Pontiac Firebird Color Change!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2000 Pontiac Firebird. This car came to us badly in need of paint! It had been sanded and unfinished by one of its owners and was becoming very hard to look at. The car's owner didn't want to spend $5000+ on a paint job and decided they wanted to go with one of our very economical Single Stage Paints! We cleaned up the car, then masked all of the windows, lights, and trim. Once we finished our prep the Firebird was painted a vivid Electric Pearl Blue that its owners picked out from our color book!
