1998 Integra GS-R Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Acura Integra GS-R.  This sporty hatchback came to our shop with a tired, weathered looking red paint job on it.  The car's owner wanted something a bit more "Clean" looking and requested that we paint his car Honda's "Championship White" - a color used on Honda's high performance and race cars.  We began by fixing a few damaged areas that the owner specified, just minor dings and dents here and there, then moved the car into sanding where all of the bad failing paint, Chips and Scratches were smoothed down to ensure a lasting paint job with no defects beneath it.  Once sanding was complete we sealed the car with a primer and finally painted the entire exterior plus two door jambs with our premium "Urethane Single Stage" paint!

Fremont's Paul Walker, Roger Rodas Tribute Meet

Almost-Everything's crew, as you can imagine, are a bunch of gear heads and are heavily into the local "Automotive Scene". "The Fast and the Furious" star Paul Walker and his freind Roger Roda's recent passing caused a giant shockwave through the car community, as they were a giant inspiration to many automotive enthusiasts. Recently plenty of meets and gatherings have been held in the local area, the largest being held at Fremont's Pacific Commons with easily over 1000 cars in attendance, all there to have a moment of silence for our "10-second-car-owing" childhood movie hero. Not all, but many of the cars pictured below were either painted by our shop, or have had work done by us. All photo credit belongs to Lower Standard's Ceasar Villasenor.

Acura TL Type S Paintjob!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2002 Acura TL Type S. This mid sized luxury sedan came to our shop looking terrible! It had loads of unpainted primer (unfinished 3rd party body work), its original paint had been scuffed and sanded down, and for some strange reason the car's emblems were all out of place and mis-aligned! We began our paint process with our "Basics"; Cleaning the surfaces to rid them of stuck-on contaminants, Scuffing the existing paint/body repairs, and Masking all of the windows, lights and trim. Next up we applied a primer sealer, which is a thin coat of material that paint can "bite" onto. Lastly we repainted the entire exterior of this TL with our Enamel paint, using the Factory Honda "Color Code" to get as close to the original color as possible, and reinstalled the emblems in the correct position!

JDM Honda Integra Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is not an Accord. The front end looks similar to a mid 90's Accord but this is actually the front end from a "Japanese Domestic Market" or "JDM" Integra. Across the ocean they did not like the round 4 headlight look and demanded a different front end from America's Integra. Many people in America like the JDM front too and will often swap out their US front for the JDM front. In this case the owner had a few other things he wanted to do such as: filling side moulding trim holes, fixing lots of little dings and overall painting of the car! We repainted this Integra with Honda's "Grand Prix White" for the purest, whitest finish we could get, all without breaking this customer's bank!

Get Rid Of That Ugly Peeling Paint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1993 Acura Legend.  This blackish/whitish/crusty luxury sedan came into our shop in dire need of a paint job. We started our painting process by first sanding all of the peeling areas down, making them smooth so they would not show through the new paint while also removing all of the rock chips and scratches. Next step was to apply a sealer, a neutral colored primer that provides a solid, even colored surface for the new paint to "bite" onto. Once the sealer was sprayed on, we began to apply the new paint! This car's owner is selling this vehicle. They decided to keep the original color and chose our Enamel paint for an affordable great looking finish!

1990 Acura Integra Bumper Repair + Full Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1990 Acura Integra. This Import came to our shop for two different reasons, the "Body Kit" had recently been cracked due to an accident, and the rest of the car was most definitely in need of a new paint job. We began with repairing the damaged areas on the bumper cover, removing the cover, fixing the cracks, then reinstalling it. When all of the bodywork was complete we started "prepping" the rest of the car's body for paint. Since all of the bodywork that the cars owner wanted fixed was already completed before coming to our shop (excluding the bumper) we simply scuffed the car with an abrasive hand pad, then masked off all of the windows, lights, and trim. Once masking was complete we rolled it into our booth where the car was painted with the deepest darkest black enamel paint that we have in ouir color book!

1995 Acura Integra Exterior Repaint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Acura Integra. This hatchback came to our shop mismatched, discolored, and had a broken door! We began our repairs by completing all of the requested body work, we re-welded the broken sheet metal on the drivers door and adjusted the top arch of the door to align with the car's roof line! Once all of the body repair were completed we moved into the painting process, beginning with some light sanding to remove rock chips, then masking of all windows, lights, trim pieces, and lastly a coat of primer sealer! When this was finished the Integra was painted with our "Single Stage Enamel" paint, cleaned up, reassembled and returned to its pleased owner!
