2006 "VIP" Acura TL Repaint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2006 Acura TL. This car is inspired by the "VIP" styled cars of Japan; low, luxurious, and typically jet black. This particular black paint from Honda has a heavy blue metallic flake, making the car appear black at night or in the shade, but transforms to a deep blue in the sunlight! The TL was refinished using our "Two Stage Base Coat / Clear Coat" paint and the color is named "Nighthawk Black"

1995 Acura Integra Type-R Replica

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Acura Integra. The owner of this import came to our shop looking for a very particular paint job; Phoenix Yellow from the "Integra Type-R." Since the actual Integra Type-R is a very rare car this ones owner decided to transform his into a replica. The car came to us with nothing remaining of its original paint, an outside source had performed all of the requested bodywork and applied a coat of some sort of primer sealer. We began with a chemical cleaning, removing all road contaminants like bugs, tar, etc. and scuffed the existing primer sealer with an abrasive hand pad. Naturally, most people dont like painted windows too much, so avoid counter that problem we masked off all of the windows to prevent overspray. After masking, the Integra was ready for our own coat of primer sealer and the new coat of Phoenix Yellow paint!

1996 Acura Integra Re-Painted by Almost-Everything

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Acura Integra. This hatchback came to Almost Everything looking terrible! The original paint had seen it's better days and was peeling or "Delaminating" off the car in big ugly flaky sheets, leaving the existing surface dull and unattractive. Many of the cars that Almost-Everything paints actually start off in this condition! Our process is proven to provide great results at a bargain price. On this particular car we began by heavily sanding the old peeling paint down to a smooth, paintable surface and masked off all of the remaining trim, windows etc. that were not supposed to be painted. Once our final prep was finished we moved the Acura into the paint booth where a few coats of Sealer were applied to the raw surfaces all around the car. Finally the little luxurious hatchback was ready for its new paint job, we applied our Enamel paint in the car's original "Cypress Green Pearl" color, and returned it to its owner looking shiny and new again!

1991 Honda CRX Repaint

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1991 Honda CRX. This vehicle came to us wounded and mangled, it had been involved in a rear-end collision and many of its parts were damaged. We began by repairing the damage on the cars "quarter panel" while we waited for the replacement bumper and taillights to arrive. Our next step was to remove the "Delaminating" paint on the top of the car. We sanded the terrible original paint until it was smooth, and sealed the newly scuffed surface with a primer. Once we recived the replacement parts we painted the entire outside of the vehicle, re-assembled the back of the car, and returned this CRX back to its owner straight and shining like new again!

Acura TL Color Match

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2002 Acura TL type-s. This car was prepped by the owner due to lots of old, failing paint. Once the owner was satisfied with his sanding work, he dropped the car off for us to paint. We refinished the Hood and Roof back to the factory blue color and had this TL looking like new again!

1996 Acura Integra Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is this 1996 Acura Integra.  This little import came to us with lots of peeling and fading paint---a very common problem with this generation of cars! Luckily we know how to fix these problems quickly and professionally. Beginning with sanding we resurfaced the peeling paint, next we sealed the surface with a primer, and finally we finished the whole car with our Enamel + UV protectant paint!

1995 Acura Legend

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Acura Legend. The owner of this car decided to try his hand at some auto body, he sanded the car himself removing much of the peeling and delaminating paint that was on it. Once he had finished prepping the car to his satisfaction, he dropped it off to us where we first applied a primer sealer on top of the freshly sanded surface, and refinished the whole car with our Enamel paint!

Bumper Special!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is this 2006 Acura RSX. This car had been purchased with a pretty nasty scrape in the front bumper. We repaired this by "feathering" and sanding the chips and scratches in the bumper, mainly focusing on the large chip where the paint was completely gone, sealing the freshly resurfaced panel with a primer, and finally refinishing the entire bumper cover with the factory color paint!

2005 Acura RSX

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2005 Acura RSX. This fairly new car has spent much of its time outdoors, resulting in the delaminating/peeling paint you can see in the following pictures. Sun, heat and outdoor elements are the main causes of such paint failure, once the peeling starts it is virtually impossible to stop.  A common way to prevent this from happening to your vehicle is to regulary wash and wax the exterior with a good quality paste wax, think of it as sunscreen for your car. Any paint job will fail over time, but proper care and prevention will preserve your finish much longer!  We restored the finish on this particular car with our Enamel + UV protective paint.
