Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Ford Explorer that was rear ended. The bumper got pushed in and caused a dent in the quarter panel and some minor frame damage. We worked with the insurance company to replace the bumper, pull the frame and fix the dents.

Bumper Repair on 2007 Mazda5
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2007 Mazda 5. Both bumpers had been hit multiple times but the damage was mostly cosmetic and repairs were surprisingly affordable. We sanded off the peeling paint, repainted the existing bumpers and re-installed the old foglight.

Sometimes It's Worse Than It Looks
Occassionally the damage is far worse than it looks. We hate being the bearers of bad news but in this case we had no choice. A customer barely clipped his mirror against his garage door opening. He thought he just needed to replace the mirror. His mechanic told him, "No. You need a body shop."
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2012 Nissan Altima. We were shocked at how much damage that little tap had done. The mirror ripped a hole in the door and bent it so air & water leaked around the edges. A new mirror would not fit because of the distorted metal. The window track was also bent so the window could not be used. Both the door and mirror needed to be replaced!
Before:
We were able to find a door at a salvage yard. We took it apart, fixed some small dings and painted the interior to match the car. Then we mounted the door and painted the outside. We also blended some new paint onto the fender and the rear door so that the new paint would not look different against the older, faded paint.

1990 Mazda Miata Race Car Paint Job
Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1990 Mazda Miata Race Car. This car is owned and rented out by a local racing instructor to his students. Crashes are a part of racing. This particular Miata had scrapes on both sides. We repainted the body a deep, non-metallic red and the hardtop separately in bright yellow! This Miata was returned to its owner ready to crash, but looking great while doing so!

24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans)
The greatest auto race in the world starts tomorrow, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It's our favorite because since 1923, people have been racing whatever they could bring for a whole day without stopping. There have been cars taken straight off showroom floors: Porsches, Corvettes, Aston Martins, Jaguars, Ferraris, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Lotuses, Cobras. And then there are the prototypes--the no holds barred version of racing that exists nowhere else. These are the fastest vehicles on the planet with bleeding edge technology that defines where automobiles will be decades in the future. Or not. Some of the ideas are downright weird and fail miserably. Racing doesn't get any better.
