2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Peeling Paint Problem

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. This car came to our shop with lots of peeling or "delaminating" paint clinging to its body. Before we could apply a shiny new paint to it, the old paint had to come off.  We began by sanding down all of the old peeling clear coat, smoothing the surfaces down to an even "non-peely" level. Once the car was smooth we applied a primer sealer to the panels to protect the freshly sanded surface and to provide a fresh even colored base for the new paint to "bite" onto. Finally the car was ready for its new paint job. We refinished this Chevy with our Enamel paint in its original color, Black. We have painted thousands of cars from all over the Bay Area, many of them with this same "Peeling" problem! Call us for an appointment or just stop by our shop for a free estimate on fixing your car's old faded paint!
