It's About That Time Again!

Every once in a while we host an event for a local Car Crew called "Lower Class" a couple of our team members are also Lower Class team members as well! Often times they will be out doing some sort of automotive related shenanigan, we are automotive enthusiasts ourselves and enjoy seeing what people build! Luckily (and conveniently) we have a big open parking lot where we sponsor Lower Class' Barbeques and Meets! This is a laid back event (no racing or funny stuff on our property) where anyone is welcome to join! The Almost-Everything Crew, Lower Class, and a couple of other local Car Clubs will be at our shop Saturday October 19th, bring your project out and mingle!

1999 Mercedes Benz S500 Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Mercedes Benz S500. This European Land Yacht came to our shop dinged and dented with gouges in its bumpers, rock chips and scratches galore. On top of all that its paint was peeling! We began with some much needed bodywork. We worked with the car's owner and found all of the dings, dents and gouges that he wanted to have fixed and repaired those before the Mercedes went into sanding, where we removed all of the Rock Chips and Peeling or "Delaminating" paint! Finally the S500 was ready for its new paint job, we applied the original black pearl color in our Enamel paint grade for an affordable long lasting finish!

$ Multi-Million 1962 Maserati Wreck

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day had been the last surviving example of only 3 original Maserati Tipo 151s custom built to race at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans. This car competed again in 1963 and 1964. It was sold in 2006 for a record 1.85 million Swiss Francs (US $2 million+.) In 2012 it was entered in the Goodwood Festival of Speed. You can see in the photos and videos what happened.
