THIS 2011 CADILLAC STS WAS BROUGHT TOALMOST EVERTHING FREMONT WITH THE FRONT BUMPER RIPPED FROM DRIVING OVER PARKING BLOCK WE REMOVED OLD BUMPER AND REPLACED IT WITH OEM BUMPER MATCHING THE FACTORY PAINT WITH OUR STATE OF THE ART COLOR MATCHING SYSTEM.

Goodyear Formula Car Challenge Leader: Almost Everything's Lloyd Read

Almost Everything sponsored driver Lloyd Read continues to rack-up wins in the Formula Car Challenge presented by Goodyear. Read is the series points leader. He came in 3rd in this weekend's race at Sears Point, Infineon Raceway, keeping him at the top of the leader board. Past series contenders include NASCAR and Formula One star Scott Speed, Indy drivers Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal and NASCAR/Champ Car/GTP driver Michael McDowell.

1996 HONDA ACCORD WITH PEELING PAINT

Almost Everything's Car of the Day came in with both peeling clear coat and a condition called microchecking or lacquer checking (see close-up below.) Almost Everything reconditioned the delaminating clear coat and stripped the areas of the car with microchecking before painting the entire car.

Microchecking (also called lacquer checking) starts as microscopic cracks caused by failing material under the paint. Engine heat, ultraviolet rays or contaminants can all cause microchecking. The cracks can allow water to get under the paint leading to rust.

Da Fang's Flake Concept--Beautiful, Baffling, Brilliant

Da Fang is a true automotive designer. His vehicle concept is audacious and genius. The surface, structure and even the "wheels" (if you can still call them that) are active and react to the road, driving conditions and speed to optimize performance, comfort and safety. Panels move to create downforce, help in braking or to allow suspension travel while maintaining a very streamlined profile on smooth roads at high speeds. I hope I will drive something with this type technology in my lifetime. Cudos to Fang on his vision.

Porsche 911-Special Submariner Edition

Sadly, tests of the new 911 Submariner have not gone swimmingly.

1997 Geo Prizm Complete Paint Job

Yes, the before and after pictures really are the same car. Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1997 Geo Prizm. If ever there was a car in need of a paint job, this was it. The customer chose our most economical enamel. And for the price of one or 2 car payments, he turned this horrible looking mess into what looks like a new car.
