1985 Chevrolet S30 Custom Delux truck with failing paint

Today's Car of the Day is a 1985 Chevrolet S30 Custom Delux work truck that came in with bad peeling paint on the cab. Almost Everything Autobody recondition the delaminating paint and sanded the surface rust on the entire cab and painted the cab with the Ambassador paint service. Now the truck looks presentable and ready for work.

Boat Trailer? Sure, What Else You Got?

Today's Car of the Day isn't a car at all. The boat trailer was chipped-up, rust was taking root and purple just didn't seem as cool as it once did. So the owner had Almost Everything repaint it black.

No job too little for Almost Everything Autobody

Today's Car of the Day is a 60's Volkswagen Bug toy car that came in need of a paint job. The customer has had this car in the family for about 20 years, and decided to give it to his soon to be 3 year old grandson as his birthday present. Almost Everything Autobody removed all mechanical parts, and bumpers off the car, sanded the old paint and surface rust off the car and painted with the Signature paint service that comes with full clear coat and 5 year warranty.

Attrocity: 10 Mazda Cosmo Sports Dying in a Japanese Field

This horrifying photo is courtesy of Komin's Photo Blog. Komin found 10 very rare Mazda Cosmos lined-up in a field, rotting. The Cosmo was Mazda's first Wankel rotary engined car and the first production 2-rotor Wankel in the world. Almost Everything Autobody has listed it as one of the Most Beautiful Cars Ever Made. Mazda produced the original Cosmo series from 1967 to 1972 and a total of only 1519 were built. Only 2 exist in the USA, with Late Night Show's Jay Leno owning one of them. Someone needs to save what's left of these cars. If you can ship one to us, we'd be happy to help!

Car of the Day - 2004 Honda S2000 with Microchecked Paint

Today's car is a great little racer, the Honda S2000. This particular car looked faded because it had some poorly done bodywork and paint. The old paint was microchecking. This condition is also known as "lacquer checking." Microchecking means that the paint has started to fail and crack apart. It can be a serious condition for your car that leads to rusting and premature failure of the metal. Almost Everything Autobody stripped the car down to bare metal, re-applied primer & repainted the entire vehicle using an economical but high quality enamel.

Car of the Day - 1974 Ford Maverick Restoration

Ol' Buzzard after Restoration at Almost Everything Autobody
This 1974 Ford Maverick came to us in need of a restoration. The owner of the car, Don Schennek, has a heck on an engine and transmission in this car. Check under the hood at any number of local car shows to see it. But the outside of the car. . . well, let's be blunt, it was a bit chewed-up, rusty. . . ugly. Don had Almost Everything Autobody repair dents on the doors, quarter panels, roof, trunk and fenders. We also welded shut 42 holes around the car where old mouldings used to mount. Almost Everything Autobody repaired fiberglass cracks on the new "Grabber" hood. We treated the rust on the right and left quarter panels by welding in new metal and in some areas, rebuilt panels in fiberglass. Don changed the color from a dull orange to white. Don's "Ol' Buzzard" is a regular at Northern California auto shows and after his restoration, he received an invite to participate in the prestigious Classic & Custom Car Show in San Jose's McEnery Convention Center. Thanks for letting us work on this great car Don.

For those interested, you can see Don Schennek's car at:
