2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe--Hit Front & Rear

Almost Everything Autobody's Car of the Day is a 2004 Infiniti G35. We've had a lot of rain in California and it was hit both in the front and back. The front bumper and hood were badly damaged and there was a hole punched in the rear bumper cover. The owner wanted to avoid an insurance claim and to save cost as much as possible. We were able to repair (instead of replace) the bumpers and the hood so that the original damage is close to imperceptible. This is another of those cars we'd love to keep.

2002 Infinity Q45 with Auto Bodywork & Paint

Today's Car of the Day is a 2002 Infinity Q45 that came in with dents, cracks and peeling paint. Almost Everything Autobody repaired dents on the front bumper cover, right rear door, and cracks on the rear bumper cover. We then recondition the delaminating (peeling) paint, apply a full coat of sealer and painted with the presidential paint service.

Great Track Video Inside Restored 1974 F1 Car

The car is the restored 1974 Australian GP winning Penske PC4. JR Hildebrand drove it on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in June 2010.

2001 Ford Focus with peeling paint

Today's Car of the Day is a 2001 Ford Focus that came in with peeling paint, also known as delaminating paint on the hood. Almost Everything Autobody recondition the delaminating paint, applied a coat of primer sealer, painted the hood, blended the fenders for a perfect color match and installed new pinstripes on the fenders.

2011 Lexus Rx450h with dent repair

Today's Car of the Day is a 2011 Lexus Rx450h that came in with a dent on the tailgate. Almost Everything Autobody repaired the dent on the tailgate, painted to match the pearl white three-stage paint, color sand and buff for a seamless match to factory paint, and installed new emblems that were broken. Now the Rx450h looks like nothing ever happend.

BMW Announces Lightweight Initiative

BMW Lightweight Brake Concept

BMW held their yearly "Innovation Days" last week and introduced a number of intriguing concepts to reduce weight on their vehicles. The photo above shows a gigantic brake rotor that actually weighs less than its smaller, conventional counterpart because the increase in diameter and surface area means that it can be made thinner and lighter without sacrificing any capability to stop the vehicle or wear more quickly. Of course, you have to have a honking big wheel to fit over it.

Lightweight means quicker performance, better handling, better fuel economy, etc. It's a very good thing but hard to achieve while maintaining safety & reliability. BMW is on the right track. The showcase new designs for body panels, wheels, seats, and more.

Today's Car of the Day is a 1997 Eagle Talon previously painted by Almost Everything Autobody 3 years ago. The car got keyed on the driver's door. Almost Everything Autobody recondition the key scratch, primer to fill in the scratch and painted the door to match the rest of the car.

It's a Hyundai Accent ad and, believe it or not, it's worth a watch. The car is mounted on the side of a building and imagery is projected on and around it. Gimmicky? Yes. Cool? You bet.

Paint Job on 1998 Toyota Camry

Almost Everything Autobody's Car of the Day is a 1998 Toyota Camry that had splotches of primer and previous bodywork on it. What was left of the original paint was scratched & dull. We machine sanded the entire car, gave it a new coat of primer then repainted it with an economical single stage paint.

From our buddies at WreckedExotics.com comes this photo of a 1-day old, $200K+ Mercedes Benz SLS AMG gullwing in Bosnia. The owner picked-up his car the previous day and was taking it on a high-speed excursion. A tour bus got in the way and the SLS crashed into a Volkswagen.

2002 Ford F250 with Auto Bodywork and Paint

Today's Car of the Day is a 2002 Ford F250 diesel truck that had damage to both sides of the bed. Almost Everything Autobody repaired the dents and painted the bed to match the rest of the truck. We also installed new pinstripes that matched the existing stripes we removed for painting.
