1991 Nissan 240SX "S13" Body Kit Color Match!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1991 Nissan 240SX, this sparkling slide machine came to our shop as many 240's do; mismatched, primered, and ready for drift battle. The car's owner grew tired of the typical 240 look and decided to match the bumper and trunk (with spoiler) to the rest of the car!  One interesting fact about this paint job is that the body of the car had a very basic, slightly old "single stage" paint job from another shop.  Typically this would cause an issue with color matching due to paint material differences, luckily our painter has the expertise to match colors extremely closely as the pictures will tell!

Acura TL Type S Paintjob!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2002 Acura TL Type S. This mid sized luxury sedan came to our shop looking terrible! It had loads of unpainted primer (unfinished 3rd party body work), its original paint had been scuffed and sanded down, and for some strange reason the car's emblems were all out of place and mis-aligned! We began our paint process with our "Basics"; Cleaning the surfaces to rid them of stuck-on contaminants, Scuffing the existing paint/body repairs, and Masking all of the windows, lights and trim. Next up we applied a primer sealer, which is a thin coat of material that paint can "bite" onto. Lastly we repainted the entire exterior of this TL with our Enamel paint, using the Factory Honda "Color Code" to get as close to the original color as possible, and reinstalled the emblems in the correct position!

It's About That Time Again!

Every once in a while we host an event for a local Car Crew called "Lower Class" a couple of our team members are also Lower Class team members as well! Often times they will be out doing some sort of automotive related shenanigan, we are automotive enthusiasts ourselves and enjoy seeing what people build! Luckily (and conveniently) we have a big open parking lot where we sponsor Lower Class' Barbeques and Meets! This is a laid back event (no racing or funny stuff on our property) where anyone is welcome to join! The Almost-Everything Crew, Lower Class, and a couple of other local Car Clubs will be at our shop Saturday October 19th, bring your project out and mingle!
