The owner of today's Honda Civic planned to paint his car himself before bringing it to Almost Everything. The original paint was peeling and faded. The owner sanded most of the car himself and was preparing to buy paint when he determined that it was going to cost more just to buy the materials he needed than to have Almost Everything Autobody do the entire job. He bought our most economical paint job and elected not to have any body repairs. The car looks a lot better and won't be an embarrassment, even if it isn't perfect.
Almost Everything Autobody'sCar of the Day is an Infiniti I35 that was attacked by a rogue light pole in a parking lot. The customer had to pay for this repair out of pocket. We helped take the sting out of the experience by providing Almost Everything's famous service and pricing that averages 1/3 less than the competition. The customer got original factory paint with a lifetime warranty.
Today's car is a great little racer, the Honda S2000. This particular car looked faded because it had some poorly done bodywork and paint. The old paint was microchecking. This condition is also known as "lacquer checking." Microchecking means that the paint has started to fail and crack apart. It can be a serious condition for your car that leads to rusting and premature failure of the metal. Almost Everything Autobody stripped the car down to bare metal, re-applied primer & repainted the entire vehicle using an economical but high quality enamel.
