Car of the Day - 2004 Honda S2000 with Microchecked Paint
Today's car is a great little racer, the Honda S2000. This particular car looked faded because it had some poorly done bodywork and paint. The old paint was microchecking. This condition is also known as "lacquer checking." Microchecking means that the paint has started to fail and crack apart. It can be a serious condition for your car that leads to rusting and premature failure of the metal. Almost Everything Autobody stripped the car down to bare metal, re-applied primer & repainted the entire vehicle using an economical but high quality enamel.
