2001 Mercedes Benz E320 with key scratches

Today's Car of the Day is a nice 2001 Mercedes Benz E320 that came in with key scratches, scrapes and dents. Almost Everything Autobody recondition all the key scratches, repaired the scrapes on the front bumper cover and repaired the dents on the decklid. Almost Everything Autobody prepped and painted the entire car with the Presidential paint service. The customer liked the results so much that decided to paint their second car, a 1998 Bmw 528i that we are working on right now.

Emerson's New Favorite Car--McLaren F1

Almost anyone who has visited our shop knows Emerson. One of our suppliers gave us a calendar and December had a car that he was unfamiliar with--probably because it went into production when he was a child. Still, it is to this day one of the fastest and even arguably THE fastest production car ever made (243 mph/372 km/h). And it is now Emerson's new favorite. We've told him to start saving his pennies.

We present, the McLaren F1.

Produced from 1992 to 1998. Only 106 were ever made. When new they were $1,000,000.00 each. They cost more now, a lot more, if you can get someone to sell one.

Here's a recent Automobile Magazine retrospective on the F1. . . we aren't the only ones who still think it is the next best thing to a ride on a space shuttle, or maybe better:

McLaren was formed in 1963 by racing driver Bruce McLaren. It is famous more for its decades of engineering amazing race cars. But McLaren also engineered and manufactured the 2003-2010 Mercedes Benz SLR and for those who missed out on the F1 and the SLR, McLaren recently announced plans for a new street legal supercar, the MP4-12C.

2001 Mercedes Benz S430 with Cloudy Yellow Headlights

Yellow, Hazy Headlight before Restoration at Almost Everything Autobody
Today's customer had a gorgeous Mercedes Benz S430 in great condition except for the headlights which were pitted, yellow and hazy. The customer hated the way they looked and how performance at night was diminished. So he brought his car to Almost Everything Autobody specifically for headlight restoration. He had been quoted $100-$250 for this work at other shops and thousands of dollars for headlight replacement.
The same Headlight after Restoration at Almost Everything Autobody
Almost Everything's price was dramatically lower for the same work. And we completed it the same afternoon. When Almost Everything Autobody restores a headlamp we actually resurface the lens using special pneumatic micro polishing machines, very fine abrasives, the highest quality polishes and a bit of artistry. That's why our results look so much better. And because we do so many, our cost is significantly less than everyone else.

Car of the Day - 2004 Mercedes Benz SL500 - Paint & Body Work

This beautiful Mercedes had some large tears in its front bumper. It had also been vandalized so that it had deep key scratches on every panel of the vehicle including the roof. Almost Everything repaired the tears in the bumper and all of the scratch marks. We painted the entire car using our Signature Paint service that comes with a full clear coat and 5 year nation-wide warranty. To give it that extra sheen, the customer also opted to color sand & polish the paint to make it glassy smooth.

Car of the Day - 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS 55 AMG - Auto Paint

This was a sad story. A beautiful 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS55 AMG ($87K base price when new) had been vandalized. Just about every body panel had been "keyed" so that there were deep scratches and creases around the entire car. The owners had been quoted many thousands of dollars to repair the damage. The family very much wanted to get the car fixed but within a more reasonable budget. We repaired the dents & scratches & repainted almost the entire car. We did NOT remove the trim, door handles, etc. So if one looks closely, it is possible to tell that the car has been repainted. But for the purposes of this family, for normal use, and even when viewed parked in the VIP spot at a fancy club or restaurant, the car looks very good.

After getting their car back, the owners brought us their 2008 Buick Enclave that had experienced a few parking lot mishaps. We repaired dents on both rear doors, both quarter panels, the front bumper and the fender flares and restored the two-tone paint job.
