Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 2006 Honda Ridgeline pick up truck with a parking lot scrape on the bumper. We sanded the peeling paint and filled the gouges in the plastic. Then we put on several coats of original, factory-match paint.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a 1999 Toyota Camry with faded paint. In this case, the paint was so bad that it was coming off in large chunks and the hood had started to rust. We call this condition "delaminating" paint, when the layers of paint fail and peel apart. It is usually caused by sun damage and age. We removed the peeling paint and repainted the whole car.
Almost Everything'sCar of the Day is a gorgeous 1995 Nissan 300ZX that unfortunately got hit on the front, driver's side corner. We had to replace the fender and a hood hinge and repair dents & scrapes on the hood and bumper. We repainted the damaged parts with factory matched paint and blended some new paint onto the driver's door so that any difference between the new paint and older, possibly faded paint on the door would be difficult to notice.
