Alfa Romeo 4C Visits Shop

Alfa Romeo 4C visits Almost Everything Auto Body

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C. We're car guys here so our hearts skipped a beat when this Italian beast pulled up. It was brand new and thankfully there wasn't a thing wrong with it. One of our long-time customers just purchased it and knew we'd enjoy being some of the first people in the USA to see one. I love Alfas and am excited that we are finally getting to taste them again in the United States.

Good Quality vs Poor Quality Body Repairs

Cracks, rust and peeling paint from a previous, poor quality repair before new repairs at Almost Everything Auto Body

Today's Car of the Day highlights the differences between good and bad quality materials and workmanship. The quarter panel on this 2004 Toyota Highlander was repaired at another shop using poor quality paint and a sub-standard repair process. The newer paint in the repair area failed much earlier than the old paint on the rest of the vehicle. In addition, body filler was applied too thick over an improperly prepared surface. The result is body filler that is cracking and pulling away from the panel. Water is getting inside the cracks and forming rust. We cleaned out the old body filler and rust, re-did the dent repair and repainted. Almost Everything uses great materials and experienced technicians. We stand by our work with a written warranty that is the best in the industry.

Acura Collision Repair

Dented door on Acura RL before repairs at Almost Everything Auto Body

Today's Car of the Day is an Acura RL that was hit on the side. Farmer's Insurance paid to have the exterior door panel replaced and factory paint applied to the door and blended onto the adjacent panels. Of course we removed all of the chrome, weatherstrips, mouldings and lights to prevent paint from getting on them.
