Mazda 3 bumper was crushed in a parking lot incident. We replace the bumper and a broken reflector. This Mazda has a premium, 3-stage paint that is hard to match. Even in the "before" photos you can see that the original bumper color does not exactly match the rest of the car. In these situations we recommend blending (or fading) paint onto the adjacent panels to better hide this color mis-match. Or, as this customer chose, you can keep cost lower if you are able to tolerate a slight color difference.
Before:
Note original slight color mis-match on rear bumper cover at the time the customer dropped off the vehicle. Bumpers can often be a slightly different color than the rest of the car due to differences in plastic vs. metal parts. This difference is even greater on 3-stage (also called "tri-stage" or "candy") paints.
