Good Quality vs Poor Quality Body Repairs

Cracks, rust and peeling paint from a previous, poor quality repair before new repairs at Almost Everything Auto Body

Today's Car of the Day highlights the differences between good and bad quality materials and workmanship. The quarter panel on this 2004 Toyota Highlander was repaired at another shop using poor quality paint and a sub-standard repair process. The newer paint in the repair area failed much earlier than the old paint on the rest of the vehicle. In addition, body filler was applied too thick over an improperly prepared surface. The result is body filler that is cracking and pulling away from the panel. Water is getting inside the cracks and forming rust. We cleaned out the old body filler and rust, re-did the dent repair and repainted. Almost Everything uses great materials and experienced technicians. We stand by our work with a written warranty that is the best in the industry.
