Still on the road after 127 years, the De Dion Bouton et Trepardoux Dos-a-Dos Steam-powered car recently sold for $4,620,000 at auction in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. It is being called "the world's oldest running car." It predates the 1886 gasoline-powered Benz by 2 years. Claims can be made to earlier car designs but none of those original beasts still drive!
