1966 Mustang Employee Project!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe named "Betsy." This old Mustang belongs to one of our employees. He and his dad got this car in extremely rough condition in 2002. After getting the chassis and powertrain in order the car sat from 2004 until 2013, gathering dirt, dust, spiders and plenty of surface rust. Believe it or not, the car has only been fully painted one other time in its life, which was when it was assembled in Milpitas, CA in 1965. The previous owner wanted to have the car painted orange. Luckily (for the people who frown upon bright "Chevy orange" colored Mustangs) he ran out of money while the car was still in primer. That was in 1978. Our team member stripped off all of the old primer and the surface rust captured beneath it and repaired the two front fenders which were handcrafted...er...mangled, by the previous owner with a big hammer. Our painter applied the purest black that we had in our color swatch book. Our team member chose to have his Mustang painted with our basic "Single Stage" paint to showcase how even a simple paint job can completely transform the looks of an old car that needs some love. *Don't mind the misaligned front bumper cover, our employee knows it is not mounted properly yet. He does not care at the moment as the car is still "under construction" and probably will remain that way until approximately mid to late August of the year 2035*

Mtech Inspired E30 Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1985 BMW 325E "E30". This classic bavarian came to our shop looking downright terrible! Its beautiful body lines had been covered in a halfway sanded off green paint like substance, completely tarnishing the car's resale value and "head turning" factor. This car's owner decided to do all of his own body work and sanding, leaving only the painting up to us. We completed all of our "basic prep" before the new paint was applied which includes; Chemically Cleaning, Abrasive Pad Scuffing, and Masking of all unpainted Trim. Once this was complete we refinished the E30 with our basic Enamel in a slightly different color; BMW's own "Calypso Red Metallic".

Another Exotic Car Immolates Itself

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a Ferrari F430 Spyder. We've had a recent facination with absurdly expensive sports cars turning themselves to ashes. This one was parked in Florida when WreckedExotics.com says it "spontaneously combusted." Somehow reminds us of the song "I'm Too Sexy." These cars have so much potential that sometimes they just can't contain it and suddenly blow up without warning.
