1995 Ferrari 348 vs Tree

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a 1995 Ferrari 348 that was wrapped around a tree at high speed (yes, of course we meant the tree was speeding.) Amazingly, the driver walked away without any significant injuries. No word on how the tree fared or if drugs or alcohol were in the tree's system at the time of the collision. Police continue their investigation on rue Anatole in France.

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Unintentional Snow Plow

Please click the "Vote" button then select us for Best Bodyshop in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is an early Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. When I think of Rolls Royces, this is always the car I imagine. I like the classic, flowing lines of the single headlamp version more than the later dual headlamp models. It lost control on the highway in Monts-Verts, France. Hopefully it will be put right and be back on the road again.

Video of Lamborghini Aventador Crash

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Nero Nemesis crash
We wonder what the Mazda driver's insurance rates were after this crash. Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a special edition Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 called the "Nero Nemesis." Amazingly, it was all caught on video. Lots of debate on internet over who was at fault--was the Lambo going too fast? Or was the Mazda driver just oblivious? (We fall into the camp of the Mazda driver needed to yield to traffic.) Either way, no one was seriously injured. DuPont Registry lists a Lamborghini Aventador Nero Namesis at $450,000. The crash happened on Sloane St. in London, England.

Thanks, as always, to our friends at WreckedExotics.com for e-mailing us with the photos and video.

2014 Corvette Stingray Wreck!

How is this even possible? Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. It isn't even on the market yet! We get this scoop from our friends at WreckedExotics.com. In their article, they quote General Motors as saying, "During evaluation, the inside tire caught the edge of the pavement during a tight corner, leading to the accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt, the car received only minor damage, and no citations were issued." Hard to believe this is minor damage. . . but nothing we couldn't fix!

2013 Ferrari F12 Put Out to Pasture

Ferrari, F12, Auto Body Damage, Collision Repair
Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a brand new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta out for a test drive along the scenic lake front of the small town of Breukeleveen, Netherlands. Regio14.nl reports that the driver and his grandson were in the car when it lost control, rolled & hit a tree. Both occupants were able to exit the car without injuries.

We liked Paul Sliggers' comment on the Regio14.nl website that "The prancing horse is grazing." And Ton de Ruijter quipped, "Very fast, but do you have this in green. . . ?"

Fender Bender Extraordinaire--Rolls Royce Phantom Side-Swiped

If you're having a bad day, these photos might help put a different perspective on it. Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a recent Rolls Royce Phantom with custom bodywork from what looks like a low wall hit at high speed. The air bags are deployed and the car was spotted abandoned by the side of the road in China.  At roughly $500,000.00, the car may not be a total loss like any normal car would be. On the bright side, if you had to be in a vehicle that was going to be in a major accident, this tank of a car is probably a good choice.

Thanks as always to WreckedExotics.com who sent these gems to us.

Ferrari 599 GTO Wreck

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a 2012 Ferrari 599 GTO (one of 599 built.) The driver sped through a blind turn at 4:30 AM and found a truck coming at him. He managed to avoid the truck but slid into a tree, a wall and a lamp post before coming to a stop. The driver walked away unhurt before the car burst into flames and burned to the ground.

Stop Ferrari Abuse!

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day--the latest in our long running series of what NOT to do with a Ferrari. Long envious of Lotus' lock on the supercar/submarine market, a driver in China decided to develop his own, Ferrari-based super-sub. As can be seen in these photos, it is still in need of development.

Tesla Model S Crash

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a 2013 Tesla Model S--the first one we know of to wreck. Almost Everything is located about 5 miles from the Tesla factory so we are fortunate to have Tesla employees as customers and to see Teslas every day.

This was a serious crash but the driver was uninjured.  In addition to being blindingly fast, handling better than virtually anything on the road and getting the best fuel efficiency, the National Highway Safety Administration says the Model S is the safest car ever tested. We want one.

Thanks to our buddies at WreckedExotics.com for sending us more photos to cry over.

Ferrari FF and F355 Destroyed in Offroad Adventures

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is not one but 2 different Ferraris used for off roading. Sadly this isn't the first time we've joked about a Ferrari being used as a Jeep. The first wreck comes from Lancashire, England where an Oakley Design tuned Ferrari FF worth about US$300,000 stopped running up this hill when it finally hit a tree!

Ferrari FF Offroad adventure

The second set of photos comes from Germany where a farmer was using his Ferrari F355 to plow his field. We are only speculating but it seems obvious that either an angry bull or a belligerent gang of llamas rolled the Ferrari several times.

Ferrari F40 Destroyed

This is downright painful to watch. Video of Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day: a Ferrari F40. Created to celebrate the Ferrari company's 40th anniversary and designed to be the world's greatest supercar. Only 1,315 were made from 1987 to 1992. Buyers reportedly paid anywhere from US $400,000 to US $1,600,000 and the cars still trade for that much today. WreckedExotics.com reports that the Ferrari was returning from a car show in Vancouver, Canada when the driver lost control in the rain and hit a pole. The car is valuable enough that it will probably be rebuilt but the video shows that there is a lot of work that will need to be done.

Our Continuing Series on Ferrari Offroading

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a Ferrari 355. Long time fans know that we regularly report on Ferraris that are driven off the pavement. In this case, Wrecked Exotics reports that it was not the driver's fault, "A vehicle cut the Ferrari off, swerved into the grass and up a rock ledge and flipped. Both occupant's OK, just banged up."

Ferrari 355 bites the dust, literally

2012 Maserati Quattroporte "Fender Bender"

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a brand new Maserati Quattroporte. This accident happened in Hockenheim, Germany when a truck supposedly turned in front of the Maserati. The Maserati was only going 30 miles per hour, demonstrating that it does not take a lot of speed to do a lot of damage when 2 heavy objects collide.

Thanks to our friends at WreckedExotics.com who always amaze us with the car destruction they find.

"It's Just a Little Ding"

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a Mercedes E-Class. This is what we imagine when customers say "There's just one small dent." We can only joke about this horrific accident because, amazingly, WreckedExotics.com reports the driver of the Mercedes "walked away without a scratch."

Car squeezed between truck & barrier on freeway
E-Class crushed under truck on highway
The accident happened in Belgium. The truck had a tire blowout and suddenly lurched into the Mercedes' lane.

Mercedes Benz Gullwing Flies into Lake!

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day happened in Liupanshui, China. The car is (was) a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing. The owner lost control and flipped the car into a pond. Amazingly, he survived without any significant injuries. The megabucks car was not so lucky.

Betting Against Large Trucks

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Now if the contest is pure speed we'll take the Lambo over the truck every time. But when the game is "chicken". . .

Lamborghini Aventador vs. Big Truck

Truck wins, again.

Even when we are 90% sure that we'll squeeze through before the truck, we try to be gracious and allow the truck to go first on the chance that the truck could squash us like a bug and not even notice it.

We have been hunting for some better photos of this crash but so far, no luck. If you find some, send them our way. These came from our buddies over at WreckedExotics.com

More Ferrari Hill Climbing Mischief

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a Ferrari F430 Spider. As you can see, the hill climb attempt was a bit too ambitious. One more example of why we strongly recommend Ferraris be used only on paved roads and not for rock climbing. We recommend Land Rover, Jeep and Steyr-Daimler-Puch for mud and boulders. (We should also mention that everyone involved in this accident lived to tell about it.)

Not Your Typical Off Road Vehicle

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is yet another Ferrari 458 Italia. We commend exotic car owners for actually using their cars instead of letting them wither in a garage. However, we think that this owner might do better to leave the car at home. May we suggest a Jeep, Land Rover or Land Cruiser for this type adventure? More fun and faster too!

Bentley Continental GTC First "Ding"

Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day returns to the good ol' USA today where this once beautiful Bentley Continental GTC (base price $191,400.00) had a "parking mishap." Don't you hate it when you get that first "ding?" In this case, the Bentley driver dinged the parked BMW behind it and several other cars in New York City.

Jaguar F-Type In Cinders

This makes it official. The new Jaguar F-Type is a true exotic. Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is the barely introduced Jaguar F-Type that has already spontaneously combusted, just like the best from Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Jaguar F-Type in flames

Jaguar F-Type burns to ground

Jaguar F-Type burns to ground

Jaguar was kind enough to let the Almost Everything team drive a few F-Types on the runway at Alameda Naval Air Station a few weeks ago. The 'F' in F-Type stands for Fast and Furious. We like!

However these are NOT the photos from Joel's test drive--only the tires were smoldering when he got out. Instead, these come from Belgium via our good friends at WreckedExotics.com. The driver escaped unharmed and reported that the car simply caught fire on an off ramp. F may also stand for Flamable.
