1998 Honda Civic Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Honda Civic coupe. This economy cruiser came to our shop looking pretty wounded, its original paint had failed from years of exposure to the sun and other elements, and somebody actually started to sand the car and didn't finish the job! Luckily we know exactly how to fix these problems and do so on a daily basis. We began by lightly sanding the car to remove all of the chips and scratches, and sealing the freshly sanded surface with a primer sealer. Once all basic prep and sealing was completed we refinished the entire exterior of the car with our Enamel paint!

1967 Pontiac Firebird Re-Repaint

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is the same 1967 Firebird that we featured last week.  This was a peculiar case in which we refinished the car with the vehicles "era correct" paint color, a beautiful black cherry metallic, unfortunately this was not the color that the owner was expecting! At some point in its life this car was refinished using a different paint color, the code for this color was nowhere to be found on the car.  The last thing we want is an unhappy customer with the wrong color car, so we went ahead and painted the car again, this time matching the color as close as possible to the previous color!

2001 Toyota Corolla Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2001 Toyota Corolla. This car came to Almost-Everything with all of your typical "Toyota problems" things such as; Chips, scratches, Peeling or "Delaminating" paint and just overall faded looking dull paint. The first and most important step with any paint job was the removal of the damaged existing paint, we smoothed or "feathered" down the peeling paint edges so they would not show through the new paint surface. Once that was complete we sealed the car with a primer and refinished the entire exterior of the Corolla with our Enamel paint!

1967 Volkswagen Beetle Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle.  This classic peoples car came to Almost-Everything with decent looking paint, however the surfaces beneath the paint were starting to fail or rust causing cracks, bubbles, and other unsightly blemishes.  We started the repairs by first going over and repairing all of the owner-specified areas such as; treating rust, repairing dings and a couple dents.  Once the body repairs were completed the car moved into masking where all of its windows, lights, trim pieces were masked off. Finally the car was moved into our booth where the entire exterior was refinished with its original color "Savanna Beige" in our Enamel paint grade!

2010 Toyota Prius Color Change!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2010 Toyota Prius.  This gas sipper came to Almost-Everything with some unsightly damage on many different surfaces all around the car.  Instead of going panel by panel repainting only the areas that were damaged, the owner opted to refinish the entire exterior of the car with our Enamel paint!

1995 Dodge Caravan Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Dodge Caravan. This work van came to Almost Everything with its original paint in shambles. A good majority of it had been sanded off in preparation for new paint. Unfortunately the surface would not have looked too smooth if we had simply painted over the existing surface repairs. We corrected this by sanding all of the surfaces clean and smooth. Once that had been completed we masked off all windows, lights and trim, and finally refinished the van with our Enamel paint in the van's original color!

1967 Pontiac Firebird Color Restoration!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This classic muscle car came to Almost-Everything looking pretty beat. There were rust holes in some body panels, old bodywork that was not too interested in looking great anymore and its paint had faded from years of being outside in the sun. We began our restoration by replacing the unusable rear right body panel with a new reproduction panel made specifically for rusted/damaged areas which was provided to us by the car's owner. Once that was completed we began smoothing and "re-skimming" over the old body work so it would not show through the cars new upcoming paint job. Once the specified areas were smooth, we applied a primer sealer and finally repainted the entire exterior of the vehicle with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!

Fender Bender Extraordinaire--Rolls Royce Phantom Side-Swiped

If you're having a bad day, these photos might help put a different perspective on it. Almost Everything's Wreck of the Day is a recent Rolls Royce Phantom with custom bodywork from what looks like a low wall hit at high speed. The air bags are deployed and the car was spotted abandoned by the side of the road in China.  At roughly $500,000.00, the car may not be a total loss like any normal car would be. On the bright side, if you had to be in a vehicle that was going to be in a major accident, this tank of a car is probably a good choice.
