2004 Vandalized Range Rover Repaint!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2004 Land Rover Range Rover. This SUV came to our shop looking terrible! It had been vandalized, lots of less-than-desireable words were etched deeply into its metallic black paint with a key.  To repair this damage, copious amounts of sanding were required and after completion a primer sealer was applied to ensure proper adhesion of the new paint. The paint itself was one of our "Single Stage Enamel" paints, a thick and very shiny paint that is also one of our most affordable!

2008 Chevrolet Impala Bumper Replacement!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2008 Chevrolet Impala.  This car came to our shop following a rear end collision, luckily nobody was injured however the rear bumper cover did not survive the crash.  The damage was severe enough that the rear bumper required replacement, we ordered one directly from Chevrolet, painted it to match the car using our Factory type paint, and finally reinstalled the new part. This Chevy was returned to its owner looking like new again, with new factory parts and paint at a price lower than any other shop in our region!

1998 Toyota Corolla Paint Job!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1998 Toyota Corolla.  This economy sedan came to our shop with all of the usual "Toyota Problems" meaning its paint was peeling, faded, and chipping away. New paint does not like to sit on top of old peeling paint, upon our reccomendation the owner agreed to have us remove all of the failing "Delaminating" paint! Once that step was complete we applied a coat of primer sealer, painted the entire exterior of the car in its original color, cleaned it up and returned the Toyota to its amazed owner looking shiny and new again!

2006 Honda Element Facelift!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2006 Honda Element, this "Accord on steroids" came to our shop with a red face! It had been involved in a collision some time back, and its bumper cover had been replaced but not painted. Luckily we offer factory type paints for near exact match on "spot paint" panels like this one!   We have painted thousands of cars from all over California, and being in the immediate area, we proudly serve Fremont, Newark, and Union City!

1995 Chevrolet Tahoe Paint Overhaul!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1995 Chevy Tahoe.  This mini SUV started out with no shortage of terrible old paint. Its original clear coat had failed over years of being beaten by the sun's harmful rays causing the top layer to look white, also the base layer of primer had failed causing lots of crack or "check" marks in the top surface! These paint defects would cause the new paint to look terrible if we simply painted over them, so we stripped the hood, roof, and both fenders down to the bare metal, ridding them of all of the checking primer.  The rest of the truck we sanded what was left of the old peeling clear coat down to a smooth paintable surface.  After masking, the truck was sealed with a primer and finally painted in its original color with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint!

1999 Honda Accord Overall Paintjob!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Honda Accord.  This rasin colored sedan came to our shop almost completely grey!  This car had lots of existing bodywork from outside our shop, the owner came to us simply for paint.  We began by washing the exterior with a chemical to remove any old dirt, wax, road tar, etc. We then scuffed up the paint/primer with an abrasive hand pad to promote adhesion of the new paint.  Once masking was completed, the car was ready for its new coat of Enamel paint in its original color!

Microfiber--Worth the (Small) Expense

Get a few microfiber cloths. Almost Everything Autobody recommends them to wash, wax & polish your vehicle. They don't scratch like other cloths.
Folks who are particular about the finish on their cars know that the first time a sponge or towel is used to wash a car, it leaves fine scratches in the paint. Over time, these scratches multiply and cause the car to look dull.

There is no way to avoid this issue completely but microfiber helps a lot. It is high tech stuff. The material is made of super thin, super soft synthetic fibers. It was first developed in the 1950s but it wasn't until 2007 that Rubbermaid introduced the first microfiber cleaning products in the USA. Microfiber holds up to eight times its weight in water, attracts and contains dust and oils and causes minimal scratches to paint. Just be careful to turn the cloth often to prevent grit that accumulates on the cloth from causing scratches to the surface being cleaned. The cloth can be washed & used over & over.

Almost Everything Autobody gave away hundreds of these cloths at the Washington High School Car Show and the Tri-City Motor Rally at Newpark Mall. They proved so popular that we are planning to give one to customers when they pick-up their cars. People have asked where we get ours--we buy in bulk from Maxim Mart.
