Æ's Lloyd Read Shines at Circuit of the Americas

Almost Everything's Lloyd Read started another season of pavement searing driving at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Read won the 2011 Goodyear Formula Car Challenge Series for Almost Everything and last year led the championship until crashes (caused by other drivers) put him out of contention. In 2013 Read pilots the #16 Almost Everything-JDC Motorsports formula car in the Star Mazda Championship.

1999 Volvo s70 Color Change!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1999 Volvo s70.  This hefty european sedan came to us with a less than desirable finish, it had been painted at a sub-par shop previously and its paint had actually begun to fall off!  In addition to the failing paint, it had a damaged front fender, which we replaced with an Original recycled fender. Once we completed the bodywork the car moved into the sanding phase, where we removed all of the cars rock chips and scratches.  The car was now ready for paint, instead of staying with the dark blue greenish color, the owner decided to have us refinish the car with a rich red metallic!

1987 Porsche 944 Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo.  This classic sports car came to Almost-Everything with mis-matched body panels, unfinished body work and downright ugly all over. The owner has a small fleet of beautiful cars, one of which was painted "tornado red", a color that fit this porsche much better than its original white! Before we could lay on our new paint, the owner requested that we finish the existing bodywork. We began by smoothing and skimming over the existing body filler, and recreating the lost body lines. Next we sanded out all of the rock chips and scratches, and masked off all of the cars windows, lights, and trim.  Once the prep work was finished, the car was sealed with a primer and finally painted with our Enamel paint!
