1989 Nissan Hardbody Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1989 Nissan Hardbody pickup. This mini-truck came to Almost Everything with its original paint looking worn and unsightly. In some areas the paint actually had completely worn off leaving a bare metal surface, which was now rusting. We began our process by grinding down and treating the rust in certain customer specified areas, then removing all of the additional minor chips and scratches all around the truck. Next we sealed the entire exterior with a primer, which coats the existing surface and gives the new paint something to "bite" onto. Lastly we refinished the truck with our Enamel + UV Protectant paint in its original color!

1996 Chevrolet Camaro Color Change

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1996 Chevrolet Camaro.  This Chevy started its life as a green car, somewhere along the lines a shoddy paint job was applied over the original paint, in addition to that there were some non-matching body panels standing out like sore thumbs!  We started the transformation by first sanding out all of the chips and scratches in the existing paint, then applying a primer sealer to seal the freshly sanded surface.  The owner wasnt liking the blue that the car had been painted previously too much, so he opted to refinish it with a newer and darker GM blue!

1968 Chevrolet Impala Color Change!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1968 Chevrolet Impala.  This old-school cruiser came to us looking pretty rough, it had a thick coat of epoxy primer applied over some existing 3rd party bodywork.  Naturally the flat grey wasn't the color that the owner wanted on his classic Chevy, so he decided to have us repaint the entire exterior and even the door jambs with our Base - Coat / Clear Coat paint.  Since the car did not have a trace of its original paint anywhere, the owner simply picked a color that he liked, it is called Dark Persimmon Metallic and definately fits this car perfectly!

1963 Volkswagen Bug Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle.  This Peoples Car came to our shop with many different colors on it---Flat Black, Glossy-ish black, and a bit of Grey primer, there was also some bodywork that needed our attention.  We started by smoothing out all of the dings, dents, and gouges that the car's owner specified to be fixed.  Next we applied a Primer-Sealer to give the new paint something to "bite" onto.  Lastly we refinished the entire exterior of the car with our Urethane + Integrated Clear coat paint! The color that was applied to the Bug came right out of our color swatch book and is called "Black Pearl".

2003 Mazda Protege5 Color Change

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2003 Mazda Protege5. This sports wagon came to our shop dinged and dented up with its original light silver paint job. The car's owner decided it was time to change up the look and chose to refinish the car with our Urethane + Integrated Clear Coat paint in Charcoal Grey! Before we put the fresh paint on he also requested some bodywork, we replaced the supplied front bumper cover, and worked out many of the dings and dents around the car. This car left our shop with a pleased owner and an aggressive new color!

1970 Dodge Pickup Color Restoration

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 1970 Dodge D200 Pickup. This old workhorse came to our shop looking downright beat. The remaining substance that used to be paint just wasn't doing well anymore. The owner decided to take care of some of the bodywork on the truck prior to dropping it off for paint. We began with our Light Chip and Scratch repair, a light sanding around the entire body of the truck to smooth out any rock chips and scratches. After this, the truck's surface was ready for our Primer Sealer, once the final coat of sealer was ready we refinished the entire outside of the truck with our Enamel + UV Protectant paint in the truck's original color!

Video of Ferrari 458 Italia Blunder

This was not a good way to start the day. Some friends decided to make a video of their new Ferrari 458 Italia flying by. It didn't work quite as planned.

Toyota Tacoma Color Change!

Almost Everything's Car of the Day is a 2007 Toyota Tacoma. This work truck came to our shop with decent paint, however the owner is a subcontractor for a company that now requires its subcontractors' work vehicles to be white! We began the color transformation with our basic prep; chemically cleaning the truck to remove old stuck on road contaminants, scuffing the original blue paint up so that the new paint could stick onto it, then we masked off all lights, windows, and trim. The owner instructed us to paint the bumpers the same color as the rest of the truck's body, so we did not mask those off. We painted the entire outside of the pickup with our Enamel + UV protectant paint in the brightest, purest white that we could mix, and returned this glossy white truck to its owner!
